| Help with scanning 120 | 11 Aug 2005 06:20 GMT | 1 |
I have a Polaroid SprintScan 120, which I believe is now made by Microtek instead of Polaroid, and I'm having problems scanning any type of negative film. Any time I go to scan a negative it turns out to be extremely grainy, even though the film isn't grainy at all. I check the

| Studio lights in spectacles | 09 Aug 2005 04:37 GMT | 21 |
Has anybody found a solution to the problem of light reflections/glare on spectacles in group shots? The last thing one wants to do with a group, is fiddle with lights for half an hour and take 20 shots in order to get one good picture.

| Mamiya Sekor 50/4.5 lens | 09 Aug 2005 03:28 GMT | 5 |
I recently purchased a Sekor 50/4.5 lens for my Mamiya RB67 camera; the question is: what is the ring with the distances on the lens made for? In the RB focusing is made on the camera body, not on the lens... I can see the lens moving when I turn the ring,so I suppose it's not

| Custom lens shades | 09 Aug 2005 03:16 GMT | 5 |
This might be better as a marketplace post, please let me know if this would be best posted elsewhere. I have a pre-War camera with uncoated lenses that has some peculiar properties that makes it worthwhile for me to pursue it further (for instance it's a roll film camera that has ...

| RB 67 worth keeping? | 09 Aug 2005 03:01 GMT | 10 |
I have a super mint RB67 Pro S that has at most 50 rolls of 120 film put through it. It was purchased new, and has been archived for 10 years. I'm wondering if it will have value say 50 years from now, being in mint condition. I'm also considering holding onto it if there will ...

| Mamiya RB7 150mm soft-focus? | 08 Aug 2005 13:30 GMT | 2 |
I've just acquired a very nice-looking 150mm soft-focus lens for my good ol' Mamiya RB67. However, it is not clear to me how/where the soft-focus disks fit. I gather they go somewhere in the back of the lens, but there seems to be nowhere on this lens where they fit snugly. I ...

Took my SqAi along on a sailing trip this weekend, I shot a partial roll of the new Velvia 100 and two rolls of B&W. Acros 100 and Foma pan 100. It was a great trip and I shot mostly digital for the assignment I was working on. I'll post pictures once they are developed,

Hello. I have a pentax 67II with AE viewfinder and a FLASH AF500FTZ but I don't know how to connect flash to camera. My camera hasn't the "hot connector" (the normal connector for flash on the top), so, which cable or connector I need?

| Why Kodak is going bankrupt | 06 Aug 2005 12:45 GMT | 4 |
I thought I'd shoot some Plus-X again, seeing as it used to be my favorite film. I get to the end of the roll, remove film from camera, and the tape band you use to seal the film fell off. It wasn't attached to the film.
