Sharpest lens for Softar30 Jul 2005 23:01 GMT6
I plan to make some portraits with a Hasselblad 500 and 150mm lens and the
Softar #2 filter. Would I be better off beginning with a lens that is soft
in the first place rather than using a sharp lens with a Softar filter?
Rollei SL66 TTL metering hood29 Jul 2005 19:42 GMT8
I am still quite new to medium format, and basically learning how to
effectively use this recently obtained camera. I now also have a
Rollei-brandname hood/finder for it, which has integrated light measurement.
It did not come with any kind of documentation - would anybody knowing ...
Pentax 67II 45mm rear gel28 Jul 2005 20:45 GMT1
Can you buy purpose made gel filters to fit the rear gel holder on the

gels to cut to size?
Thanks,
Pentax 67 shutter release sound - blank film28 Jul 2005 18:05 GMT17
I'm a some time user of Pentax 67 though have come across a recurring
problem ,both from when I assisted and most recently from my own use.
The Pentax 67 appears to be working fine with the usual noises but the
film comes back blank.

Soft Release for TLR26 Jul 2005 09:52 GMT1
I just bought a soft release from Porters and although it works great on my
Praktisix II, I does not fit on either of my TLRs (one 127, the other 120).
Does anyone know of soft release that works good on TLRs?
Thanks
P, PS etc.25 Jul 2005 19:58 GMT3

Area of view25 Jul 2005 19:55 GMT3
Ok, this is a dumbwit question and one I can work out with a test shoot
but just in case anyone can help me... I have bought a Bronica SQA with

The finder has lines on all sides, creating a square area in the
What scanners for MF++ 24 Jul 2005 13:56 GMT22
I simply cannot afford a high-end scanner for MF so I'm looking to purchase
a dual-use, flatbed scanner which has a transparency adapter which handles
at least 6x9cm (though I'd love to get 3-1/4"x4-1/4" too for maybe a dozen
or so negatives I have left 30 years after I sold my last ...

This may be a funny question, but I thought I shold give it a try: is it
