A few weeks back, I asked for help selecting a Medium Format camera. After all your advice, I visited a local camera store and checked out all that was suggested to me. I eventually went with a Mamiya RZ67 Pro II, which I have fallen in love with.

Ok, I am a dummy, but an 80mm for 6x6 is a standard lens, no? Is there a rule of thumb to think of a MF lens and it's 35mm counterpart? Is a 80mm on 6x6 the same as a 50mm on 35mm? What is the 6x6 equivalent

I am a MF novice and am thinking of buying a Bronica ETRS or a Mamiya 645 since they are now so cheap on ebay. I think they are both 6x4.5 format, am I better going for 6x6 since I intend to do portraiture mostly?

I just conect sonnar 150mm synchro compur lens on my 2000FC body .Now i dont see any way to remove the lens - looks like body is locked. Any idea what may by wrong ? lens is from ebay ? can by defective? Best jp
