| RIP Contax? | 22 Apr 2005 15:43 GMT | 12 |
Now that Kyocera has officially admitted that Contax products will no longer be produced (by them), it seems like another case of corporate double-talk. First, the rumors, then denail, and now the truth. If it is true, and all Contax is done, then it's a shame. The 645 system is ...

| Widepan test roll results | 22 Apr 2005 07:38 GMT | 6 |
I put a test roll through my Widepan and got the results back. Same photo but 6 different focussing distances all at 1/250th sec and approx. f11 on a sunnyish day. All six frames had the first 3mm overexposed due to the drum coming up to speed. I inspected each frame

I have a 10 year old mamiya 645 super, motor drive, prism, several backs, plus several lenses. What is the best way to sell it? I'm afraid if I sell it on ebay, lenses may get damaged on the way, plus I don't have alot of feedbacks so buyers may not bid on such relatively

| Mamiya 55mm repair? | 18 Apr 2005 22:04 GMT | 2 |
I hadn't used my TLR for about 6 mos. until today. While checking my black 55mm I noticed that the leaf shutter will not open at any speed. It has worked well for the last 5+ years that I've owned it. Any suggestions on where I might get it repaired/checked-out in the San ...

| Mamiya 6 Film Advance Problem | 16 Apr 2005 20:18 GMT | 2 |
Is it true that winder/film advance mechanisms for the Mamiya 6 (RF) are no longer replaceable and that hundreds of users are now stuck with non-reparable cameras. I am coming out of a medium format "coma" (love that digital!) and am now just hearing about this issue. I have an M ...

| Hasselblad 500C shutter jam | 16 Apr 2005 05:34 GMT | 3 |
My 500C will not release the shutter when the dark slide is removed. The shutter cocks just fine and will fire when back is removed from the camera. Could this be a problem with the back? I have checked all settings to ensure I have not somehow locked the shutter, still no luck. Has ...
