using medium format for panoramic pictures05 Mar 2005 17:34 GMT24
Hey folks -
I'd really like to get my hands on an xpan one day, but that is far off
in the future. In the meantime, is there a way I can rig up a medium
format camera to capture true panoramic images on 35mm film, ala xpan?
8 Megapixel camera limited to 8cmx10cm prints?05 Mar 2005 09:17 GMT25
Tell me what is wrong either with my calculations or my assumptions or
both.
If you have an 8 megapixel camera with a 4x5 ratio area then that
corresponds to 3150 pixels wide x 2520 high = 8 megapixels.
Any Leaf users around here?05 Mar 2005 02:48 GMT9
I have a Leaf 45 on the way, and have had a chance to look over some of
the user manuals. This scanner is going to be a departure from my previous
scanners in many ways! I'd appreciate being able to ask some questions of
those with experience with this model.
RB67 focusing with extention tubes, using a rail system04 Mar 2005 22:08 GMT1
Perhaps I simply don't understand how, or an I simply am not that
bright, but it sure seems as though focusing when I have an extension
tube attached is a tad more difficult than when I don't have the
extension tube.
flash and shutter speed04 Mar 2005 16:25 GMT5
I recently got a Yashica Mat TLR and would like to try some flash
shots.
Before now, I've been shooting 35mm and 4x5.  I've never used flash
with 4x5, but with 35mm, most cameras have a particular speed at

What does this lens "filter" do?03 Mar 2005 14:42 GMT11
Saw this in an auction and can't figure out what it does, the thing will all the

The Kiev 60 is in hand03 Mar 2005 14:10 GMT8
I thought I'd post an update on my Russian camera buying spree.
My friend brought her camera collection over and we spent a few hours
looking at everything. She has a box full of Olympus, Miranda, Minolta and
various other 35mm format SLRs. She left the model 60 with me so I can
Hasselblad Filter on EOS lens02 Mar 2005 12:05 GMT1

lenses, I know there is a adapter allow you to use standard 77mm filters on
a Bay 70 lens, but is there anything vice versa? Thanks
OT: Ping Rafe Bustin: Nikon 8000ED curves anomaly01 Mar 2005 02:02 GMT3
No matter the image/media, they always have this gap on the left.  Does
yours do that?
