Mamiya of America Repair12 Feb 2005 17:21 GMT8
So, it looks from Mamiya's site
(http://www.mamiya.com/html/customer_service/servicerepair.html) that I'm
just supposed to box up the camera, include a letter describing the repair
request, include payment information, send the box to them in Elmsford, and
minimum lp/mm for enlargements12 Feb 2005 04:32 GMT54
What is considered to be the minimum resolution in lp/mm for an
enlargement to still look OK? Do I hear "5 lp/mm"?
flashbulbs and russian cameras11 Feb 2005 23:17 GMT6
I can't seem to get flashbulbs to work reliably with my commie
cameras.  actually, my Kiev 4 and my Moskva 5 are the ones I am
interested in (fed is hot shoe only).  electronic flash works fine on
both, but a bulb never seems to go off.  on my Zorki 2 it works

Cheap :) Medium Format Projector?09 Feb 2005 03:08 GMT17
Can anyone recommend a decent cheap MF projector for 6x6 slides? Only
ones I'm aware of are Rollei and Hasselblad, which albeit good, are
out of my budget.
Medium format magazine/journal07 Feb 2005 10:00 GMT46
A question for all readers and medium format photographers - does a
dedicated medium-format photography journal/magazine exist?
I am not aware of one and if there is none, would it be of interest to
start something like that?
Rolleicord newbie06 Feb 2005 22:32 GMT5
I just purchased a Rolleicord IIc and shot my first roll of film (Forte 100
B&W). I am not sure the wind knob is working corrrectly. There is no film
advance stop and the button in the center of the knob doesn't seem to do
anything. I used the counter window on the bottom of the ...
Achromat, APOchromat and superachromat06 Feb 2005 02:24 GMT9
In a recent thread the meaning and definition of an APO lens (apochromat)
was discussed. I think the following link is very helpful in explaining the
difference between achromats (typical color correction). APOchromats and
superachromats. The latter offers the ultimate in color ...
Gossen flash problem04 Feb 2005 22:28 GMT8
I am hoping for advice.
I had my studio lights set up in a new area and the gossen starlite had a
dead battery. I replaced the battery but some of the functions like changing
the speed with the roll wheel seemed sluggish.

Mamiya 7 film loading question03 Feb 2005 10:31 GMT7
I recently got a roll of Provia 100F back from the lab, with the 10th frame
cut in half by the end of the film. Irritatingly, it looked like it would
have come out really well as well. :-(
I loaded the film in accordance with the instructions, lining up the START
Glass plate cameras02 Feb 2005 13:04 GMT5
I've noticed that there are quite a few cameras, mostly produced before
WWII that were specifically designed for glass plates.  In fact many of
them have no ability to load rollfilm, even with a holder.  I know with
projectors that they have "flat field" and "curved field" lenses to
