Ok, after looking around on eBay for more than 3 months, and based
exclusively on Matt Denton's own camera review (great guy and fascinating

going for $15 and I was the only bidder, so I won the auction. The ...

I just got a Yashica Mat-124, and after putting the first roll of film

I've scoured flea bay, B&H, and Adorama, but can't locate a stepup ring for
a Rolleiflex 2.8C, which I think takes a Bay 3.
Thanks!

I'm considering buying a flatbed scanner for negatives up to 6x9. I
caertainly can't afford a real MF filmscanner.
My question is whether the quality of the new flatbeds is now good: A
couple of years ago the consensus was that flatbed scans (I think it on
Agfa T1200 as (ultra)cheap 6x6 (MF) solution??? Or alternatives???25 Feb 2005 07:51 GMT2
I've just introduced myself into the 6x6-world by buying a Yashica TLR
(635); now I'm looking for a cheap solution to digitize the captures
from the Yashica.
There are a few interesting offers at the moment, one of them is an

Film resolution22 Feb 2005 19:19 GMT14
I found an interesting site where it talks about the resolution of
slide film though not directly the subject. I use Provia 100F roll film
and the resolution was less than I expected.

Choosing between Kiev 60 and Kiev 8821 Feb 2005 16:29 GMT18
A friend of mine inherited two Kiev cameras, and she is thinking about
selling them. One is a 60 and the other is an 88. The 60 has a small label
on the front with "Kiev USA" on it. Both cameras come with their original
boxes and both seem to have had very little use. I think they ...
