| 90mm RB lens converted to 140mm isn't working | 21 Dec 2004 19:03 GMT | 3 |
I've was told by a couple of techies that removing the front element from my Mamiya RB67 90mm lens, would make it a 140mm soft focus lens. As the 90mm focal length isn't that useful for me, I decided to give it a try. I took the lens to a reputable repair shop and told him what ...

| Argh! No Kodachrome! | 19 Dec 2004 06:26 GMT | 50 |
SO, I'm getting into MF photography after having been out of any sort of photography for a long time. My favorite color film has always been Kodachrome (mostly): there's nothing better for sunsets and russet landscapes (I live on the edge of the Great Plains).

| Question on Flash unit for Pentax 67II | 18 Dec 2004 14:35 GMT | 3 |
I have a Pentax II, but did not get the wooden handgrip. Is this hand grip necessary to interface a flash unit ? It appears that the connectors are in the body and the handgrip just holds the unit and provides a hot shoe which has to plug into the body anyway. Can I not

| Question on Light Meters. | 17 Dec 2004 13:17 GMT | 4 |
I have used a very basic Tundra light meter (cost $60) for my medium format Agfa folder and Mamiya M645 for the last several years. Often I also use my Canon Digital Rebel or Elan 7N readings for these cameras, but there are times in the future where I will be trying to cut down ...

| RB problem | 16 Dec 2004 03:21 GMT | 7 |
I'm very upset. I hired a couple models for a couple shoots I was doing this past weekend and apparently I have no idea what I'm doing with my RB67. I got all 4 rolls of film back and they were both so dark that you couldn't even see any frame marks whatsoever.

| Lens Flare Problem with Folder | 13 Dec 2004 07:58 GMT | 9 |
I have an Agfa Isolette II with a Compur-rapid with a Solinar 85mm lens. The unit has been reconditioned and I love the pictures that it takes. However, I get some lens flare that ruins some of the pictures. I know to keep the sun behind me and the pictures come out great. However, ...

| Developing labs - wanting full frame prints | 13 Dec 2004 04:17 GMT | 1 |
I am using a Mamiya RB67. I live in the Milwaukee area. While a local store processes the color film, B&W is sent out for processing. With the color film, I request full frame, and the local store is able to deliver 4x5 prints with a small white border on the top and bottom.

| Mamiyaflex C220F help needed | 13 Dec 2004 02:20 GMT | 9 |
I just bought a Mamiyaflex C220 Professional F with no user manual. It looks like a straightforward camera to use, but I don't know how to load it, in that there is no "start" mark on or near the film guide rails with which to line up the "start" arrows on the film backing.

| Which Hasselblad Prism??? | 12 Dec 2004 23:45 GMT | 10 |
I want to get a prism for my 500CM for fast, casual shooting (such as at a party), so that I don't get weird upward-angled shots of everyone. I'm leaning towards a 90-degree for maximum camera height, and I don't need metering. I would like an accessory shoe on top. I see quite a
