| Mamiya Super 23 Parts | 18 Sep 2004 13:45 GMT | 2 |
I'm after a replacement for one of the rods that holds the back on a Mamiya Super 23. If anyone knows where I can get one or maybe has a parts body and would be willing to sell one please let me know. I could also use a replacement for one of the locking dials for the rods as one ...

| ebay suspicions. A little OT | 17 Sep 2004 05:38 GMT | 67 |
Hi, Has any body else noticed the high amount of successful bidders on medium format items on ebay who have little or no feedback history? I started noticing I was being outbid by people with very little or no feedback. I went to the search area on ebay, and did a search on ...

I suspect the older zoom meter I'm using is overly responsive to green. Is it quite usuall for meters to favor some color more than others? Dan

| Do I need MF? | 15 Sep 2004 03:28 GMT | 36 |
I asked you many times about MF equipment, differences in quality and so on. Now, maybe, I'm able to afford s budget equipment. I'm using a complete Nikon system (F90X + D100 + some lenses) and a small Contax equipment. I have a Nikon LS40 IV scanner too.

| Rangefinders a little OT | 14 Sep 2004 19:55 GMT | 9 |
I am building a 6x17 camera and would like to be able to use it as a a rangefinder for faster stuff as well as using a focus screen for slower work, (I may be a little ambitious in this respect, but hey ;-)). Could anyone recommend the better of the Rangefinders that were

| how to use zeiss ikonta 521/2 | 14 Sep 2004 14:45 GMT | 3 |
I have got a Zeiss Ikonta 521/2 camera as a gift. The problem is, I do not know how to use a manual camera like this one. Does anyone know of a good resource for learning how to make use of this fantastic looking camera? German may be okay, but English would be far better.

| Well, I'm about quitting MF | 14 Sep 2004 02:45 GMT | 73 |
On to full-time LF! However, now MF hardware seems so _portable_ and small that I'm likely to throw a SWC in the pack for snapshots. :)

| problem with a Septon f2 50mm lens | 13 Sep 2004 08:53 GMT | 2 |
I'm posting here because I know somebody here can help. I have a Septon lens that does not focus at infinity (more like 17 feet). The front element group screws off and I suspect that the screws underneath in the housing are replacements that are too proud and it

| Mamiya Sekor 80mm TLR filter size | 12 Sep 2004 15:57 GMT | 4 |
I've just bought some filters for my Mamiya C220 80mm lens, only to find they are too large. All the info I've read on the web said this lens took a 46mm filter with a 48mm clip on lens hood. A ruler across the lens measures 40mm. Is the correct size 40.5mm? If so, its time to go ...

| advantage of high $ 35mm optics vs. MF now lost? | 12 Sep 2004 04:46 GMT | 17 |
In the past, 35mm shooters had the advantage of very fine (slow) film stocks to help close the "quality gap" with MF. These films stocks made it worthwhile to some users to pay a premium for top quality and high $ 35mm optics (Leica, nikon, zeiss, canon..), since the very fine ...

| Using Filters with a TLR | 11 Sep 2004 17:39 GMT | 4 |
I've an old Yashicamat 124G that doesn't get a lot of use, when it does its used for landscape work and is always tripod mounted. The standard lens is its limiting factor for me. Whenever I've needed to use it with coloured filters for B&W work, or with a polariser for colour, I've ...

Someone has posted the Mamiya 7's price at Tokyo. But that's the price around year 2000. Since then the Yen and Dollar's currency exchange value has changed quite a lot. Can someone care to update it to reflect the 2004's market price in
