| Bag suggestion | 26 Sep 2004 03:11 GMT | 3 |
Looking for a bag (either over-the-shoulder or backpack style) to hold a Hasselblad kit. It'll need to hold one or two bodies, two A12 backs, three lenses, 45 degree prism, possibly a winder, film, lightmeter, and have room for a monopod to hang on. Oh, and if it has room for a ...

| Rookie Question: Mamiya 645e + Vivitar 185HV | 21 Sep 2004 18:43 GMT | 1 |
This is my first attempt with a medium format and strobe - I have had experience with a Pentax K1000 but not with a flash. My question is how do I use the Vivitar 185hv? And is there anyway of using it without a flash meter (with the 645e). I have the manual for

| Haze, uncoated lenses and B&W film. | 21 Sep 2004 01:06 GMT | 14 |
I've been working with a camera in my collection that's got a whole bunch of neat features. I noticed excessive film grain with the first few test rolls. I then tried two other films and saw exactly the same effect. This is color E6 film and the lenses are uncoated (pre-WWII)

| hasselblad and Rolleiflex | 20 Sep 2004 21:47 GMT | 41 |
Maybe it's time to take MF photos. I'm taking my time in thinking about wich system to buy. I'm considering only zeiss (or Schneider on Rolleiflex), so Hasselblad and Rolleiflex, and since ebay-digitalera-prices are cheaper and cheaper, it has no sense for me

| Leaf Shutter questions for project camera | 20 Sep 2004 21:12 GMT | 32 |
Greetings RPEM-F, I have been exploring an idea of a low cost (relatively) wide view camera, using a PC-Nikkor Shift lens. I currently have a 35 mm f2.8 version of this lens that I have been testing for coverage. A couple

| Which format? | 20 Sep 2004 11:51 GMT | 20 |
I'm getting back into photography after a long time away, and trying to decide which format. I love high definition, but LF is out both on cost grounds and because I hike and climb for mountain landscapes. I was strongly tempted towards 6x9, but now I think I might get away

| Agilux Agifold 6*6 folder | 20 Sep 2004 08:33 GMT | 5 |
I've just won an ebay auction for one of these 1950s British made folders. From the little I've found about them on the 'net, they look quite unusual. It's a 6*6 folder with a 3 element lens, has an uncoupled rangefinder, and a rather unusual "extinction meter" based on a graduated ...

| Future of MF | 19 Sep 2004 23:53 GMT | 96 |
I consider myself an amature photographer. I used 35mm SLRs for many years. About four years ago I became intrigued with medium format cameras after a friend of mine showed me some photographs he had taken with a 645 camera. The results were incredible. Soon after that I

| 205TCC | 19 Sep 2004 20:12 GMT | 2 |
I am on the verge of ordering some Hasselblad gear now- and i've been set on a 503CW with 50mm, 100mm (and either 150mm or 180mm at a later date), PME90 and CW Winder. I am still reasonably sure this is what I want, although i've found a nicely priced 205TCC somewhere and am giving ...
