Rolleicords?30 Jun 2004 13:17 GMT7
I've been using a couple of medium format cameras for a little bit - a
Lubitel 1 and a Fuji rangefinder (GS645)...

megapixel equivalent of 645?30 Jun 2004 10:02 GMT10
My GA645 arrived, soon i'll be ordering an epson 4870 once i put a few

or I'll find it hard to justify keeping it compared to 35mm (both in
terms of heftiness and cost).

should be used with the X-sync setting?
Thanks.

with this camera) by advancing the film according to the numbers on the
Use for Digital28 Jun 2004 18:33 GMT2
My wife suggested a use for a digital camera when we were hiking in
Glacier's woods, and it struck me so hard, I'll bet I scared away every
bear for a hundred miles. She said "Maybe we should take pictures behind
us as we go along, kind of like a digital crumb trail." Gawd, I love ...

I'm thoroughly bewildered by some emails I've been getting and I'm curious
if anyone else here has seen something similar.
I am not a wedding photographer, have never shot a wedding, and do not
advertise myself as a wedding photographer.  Nonetheless, I occasionally get
please recommend a 120 film scanner23 Jun 2004 03:00 GMT15
I bought a GA645 and i have so far found that the most economical way
is to have film developed only at a mail-in lab, no prints, which is
fine. Now though i would need a good scanner.  What's the most
