Ikonta II with either 105mm Opton Tessar or 75mm Novar ?12 May 2004 06:29 GMT7

I'm surprised to see a 105mm lens on a 6x6 folding camera. Was that common?
MF Scanners - Nikon Coolscan 9000 v Minolta Scan Multi Pro?09 May 2004 23:16 GMT3
Any opinions please? Not a lot to choose in price in the UK. Minolta
is less than half the weight of Nikon - is that any indication of
build quality? Otherwise on paper they both look more than OK for my
purposes. (I have a Coolscan 4000 and I've been happy with that).
Moscva 4 or Moscva 2?07 May 2004 14:46 GMT5
After considering all the advice that you guys volunteered in my last post,
I decided to buy a Ziess Ikon folder, but, as things turned out I didn't win
any of my bids on the Ikon's and did win a bid on a Moscva 4 for thirty
bucks. Not a bad price; I'll see if it works. My questions ...
swing lens cameras and focussing distance07 May 2004 13:20 GMT9
I would have posted this in the original thread but it has got long
now and fragmented as to topic. I posted some detailed calculations in
the thread with the subject line "The opposite of a close-up lens?" on
April 6th 2004 two times and April 7th 2004 once and in addition on
Building a View camera to use Hassy or Kiev backs07 May 2004 06:40 GMT13
I have a couple of questions. I'd like to build a 6x7cm view camera
with groundglass focussing, like the Bender but smaller, but I'd like
to use Hassselblad or Kiev 88 backs. What would be the simplest way to
rig a film advance, as this is on the body? Also, what doesn't
Arsat-Kiev/Zeiss-Rollei side-by-side fisheye photos06 May 2004 22:37 GMT25
I recently bought a couple of fisheye lenses for 6x6 (120) use and I
thought that some or all of you would be interested in the following
side-by-side fisheye photos taken with the Arsat 30mm on a Kiev 60, and
the Zeiss F-Distagon 30mm on a Rollei 6008i.
Clean backgrounds06 May 2004 01:36 GMT12
I'm shooting lots of detailed Jewellery for a catalogue with a digital
camera, and am trying to get a consistent colour background for all the
shots.
I can't use too many lights because the items are small.
Agfa discontinues ALL MEDIUM FORMAT FILMS !!!!06 May 2004 01:06 GMT42
I just read this on photo.net.
Can anyone confirm this?
id-11 stock  vs id-11 diluted06 May 2004 00:19 GMT4
I'm now experimenting in developing my negatives with id-11. Usually
I use the ilford hp5 and fp4 films.
Is it better to develop id-11 in stock solution or in diluted
solution (1:1) as most (as i read for short time in google) I read?
Noblex 150 resolution at infinity05 May 2004 10:17 GMT67
I found a useful online calculator so that I could calculate the
Noblex 150 resolution at infinity. It is here

The way I am using it is to alter the circle of confusion size until
Hasselblad: do B50 to 52mm adapters cause vignetting?03 May 2004 17:03 GMT2
Thought perhaps some of you more experienced Hasselbald users could
shed a bit of light on this question.
I have a 500CM with the black C T* 80mm lens and am wondering if I
were to use a bay50 adapter to mount 52mm filters, of which I have
Bronica ETRSi close ups03 May 2004 10:53 GMT2
I enjoy close up work with 35mm but now I have moved to MF using a Bronica
with a standard 75mm lens I can't get close enough.
Other than getting a macro lens what are my best alternatives? The cheapest
seems to be close up filters attached to the front of the lens ( less than
mamiya lenses 645/645pro02 May 2004 06:11 GMT1
Can lenses used on a Mamiya 645 1000s be used on a Mamiya Pro body? I assume
that they can but I need confirmation on it.
Thanks

How much RAM for medium format (6x6) scanning?02 May 2004 01:36 GMT34
[Notice that replies are redirected to c.p.s]
I just built a computer with a large HDD and with USB2 ports; among
other things I intend to scan my medium format nagatives with the Epson
flatbed scanner that I haven't bought yet.  (I haven't decided between a
Rolleiflex and color film temptations...01 May 2004 23:57 GMT21
Rollei and color film temptations...
I'm sooo happy when I shoot with b/W films with my Rolleiflex with
Tessar 2,5 and with my Planar 2,8.
But now i'm slightly interested in some few color shoots:
