| Wasup with Cambridge Camera? | 04 Apr 2004 18:24 GMT | 2 |
Does anyone know the status of Cambidge Camera in NY? I placed a web order for film, received no confirmation, no e-mails and when I attempt to call them, no one answers the phone. Yet, their on-line catalog/order system is still functioning. Needless to say, I will certaining

| Upgrade to Mamiya 654E ? | 04 Apr 2004 16:46 GMT | 3 |
I have a old M645 with a standard prism that was been a great camera for me. I have seen some 645E bodies used at KEH at decent prices and I was wondering if I would be gaining much improvement by buying the body and using my old 80mm and 55mm M645 lens that I have. They should be

| Nikon 8000 vs. Nikon 9000 vs. Minolta Scan Multi Pro | 04 Apr 2004 09:04 GMT | 1 |
I am getting a scanner for my 6x7 negatives. There are pretty good buys on the Nikon 8000's now, but what are the major differences compared to the 9000? I have a Minolta 5400 for my 35mm film, so how is the Minolta Scan Miulti Pro? The prices seem pretty high, so is that ...

| Hassy 250mm + tube.... which? | 04 Apr 2004 00:51 GMT | 2 |
I recall someone mentioning the 250mm plus tube is good for tight head shots. Which tube is recommended? (BTW, i'm a bit excited- might be getting a 50mm and 250mm- older black CT* type for the combined price of ?150... woohoo!)

| Replacing light seals on Mamiya Universal | 03 Apr 2004 20:48 GMT | 1 |
I am replacing the light seals on the film backs for a Mamiya Universal. I am using Foamex material that I cut into strips, but am wondering what kind of joints or technique I should put/use at the corners to minimize light leakage.

| Yashica-Mat | 03 Apr 2004 19:28 GMT | 3 |
I know this must be a common request, but I'd like a bit of info on a recently-acquired TLR. http://members.rogers.com/eqw/Yashica-Mat.jpg Above is a link to a horrible quality still taken with a handycam.

| Owners of Contax 645 or Hasselblad H1, Would Any Rather Get a Digital Back Than a Canon/Nikon DSLR? | 03 Apr 2004 16:20 GMT | 6 |
I would rather to believe that the more you pay, the more you get. But practically speaking, if you are considering to go digital, would it make more sense to get a digital back or simply go for a 35mm style DSLR?

| Why Hassy 503CW instead of Hassy 503CXi? | 03 Apr 2004 09:54 GMT | 6 |
Used Hassies 503CXi are about half the price of a (used) Hassy 503CW, yet CXi seems to take the CW winder (unless I am wrong), and is almost indistinguishable from the newer camera. Any thoughts or comments greatly appreciated.

| Looking for a carry-around camera | 02 Apr 2004 20:35 GMT | 24 |
I've got an Olympus Stylus Zoom 130 and a Canon GIII QL17 for 35mm carry-around bodies. But I'd like something for 120 as well. At this point I'm looking at Frank Rolfix & perhaps also an Ikonta. Both are reasonably compact and

| Zeiss Nettar 6x9 | 02 Apr 2004 08:30 GMT | 4 |
Takes 120 film and yields 8 images. Has a 105mm Nettar lens with f6 to f45 and B, 1/20, 1/75 and 1/200 shutter speeds. The field of view is very wide, but I must scale focus and the viewfinder doesn't due justice to the image on the film.

| Mamiya AFD system likes? vs. dislikes? | 02 Apr 2004 02:27 GMT | 1 |
I'm considering a Mamiya AFD system and would like to hear from folks who have experience with the system. I'm less concerned about the AF and digi vs. reliability, user friendly, etc.

| Recommendations on MF camera w/ built in metering and other requirements.. | 01 Apr 2004 20:27 GMT | 19 |
I've beens shooting medium format for about 7 years now, first with a Yashica 4x4, then with a Mamiya C220, and now with a Mamiya RB Pro-SD. All of my work was done in the studio, with a light meter and controlled lighting; my outside work was done with 35mm.
