Flash Supermatic & Anastigmat20 Apr 2004 20:52 GMT4
Got an interesting 620 camera that has a 101mm Anastimat lens (3 digit
serial number) in a 'Flash Supermatic' shutter. Very clean. But has anyone
any experience with this lens/shutter?
Hassy 150mm + tube... which?20 Apr 2004 02:44 GMT2
Thanks to all who answered my previous (similar) question regarding the
250mm... but in the end I went for the 150mm. The 150mm may now replace the
120mm I already have- I need to sell some stuff to finance other stuff,
typical student :-). Anyway, I am guessing a 21mm tube would ...

back in the hood, questions about HB prisms16 Apr 2004 23:24 GMT3
First time I've posted here in some years.
Finally putting my old darkroom back together after five years
without. New house, children, life have postponed it far too long.
Also I will soon be the owner of Hasselblad again; had to sell mine in
500ELM battery source in UK?16 Apr 2004 11:55 GMT3
I was planning on getting a 'Blad 500ELM soon, and I was wondering if anyone
knew any UK sources for the rechargeable battery? I understand the camera
can be converted to take AAs- is there anywhere over here that can do that?
Thanks,
Flash for Bronica ETRSi15 Apr 2004 04:59 GMT1
What is a good, reasonably priced flash for this camera?  What is a good
flash bracket to use with this set-up?
The opposite of a close-up lens?14 Apr 2004 15:56 GMT44
I've just found out that my new camera (Noblex 150E) is short-sighted by
design. Well, they call it "hyperfocal focussing". We don't even have a
word for this nonsense in German.
Pulled the first film through it, last weekend, and if there's anything
help with the GIMP13 Apr 2004 00:29 GMT5
I am trying to make the transition to the GIMP from Photoshop 7 (Mandrake
9.2).  I use PS for editing high res scans (50-70MB).  When using the GIMP I
have been experiencing some extremely long processing times when doing
routine tasks such as colour balancing and unsharp masking.  ...
Time Exposure on Bronica SQB & 80 mm Lens11 Apr 2004 10:43 GMT4
Does anyone know a work-around to get a bulb-time exposure on a Bronica
SQB with its normal 80mm lens?  The 65 mm lens, yes.  My three-year old
Bronica will not do longer than 8 seconds.   Multiple tripping will
ultimately shake the camera too much.  May have to just break down ...
Nikon 8000 demo unit vs. Nikon 8000 refurb vs. Nikon 900010 Apr 2004 17:41 GMT2
OK...I need a MF scanner.  I am looking at the Nikon 8000 and the Nikon
9000.  The 8000 I can get for $1400 for a new demo unit from a store
with full warranty, or $1450 for a Nikon factory refurb with a 90 day
warranty, or the new 9000 at $2000.  So which one?  I am leaning ...

realease the shutter.
MF Digital Back: What Is Needed To Differetiate From  35mm-DSLR10 Apr 2004 12:18 GMT7
The film size difference and the benefit between the 135 vs. 120 is
obvious. It clearly differentiate the medium format from the 35mm
format. In ht digital world, if the image sensors keep the size ration
between the two and keep everything else equally scaled, the MF/35mm
first TLR, very cheap10 Apr 2004 02:40 GMT22
I'm looking for a cheap tlr 6x6 twin lenses camera.  I've read a lot
about Yashica 124, but I would like to know your comments on these
models:
