Asking advice09 Mar 2004 05:43 GMT69
Group,
Been all my life fascinated by Hassy but never had cash reserve to buy one.
So this has led me to question very similar like Hamlet

Medium format slide mounting09 Mar 2004 03:19 GMT6
I am going retro. I want to blow away the digital projector brigade. I have
found an MF projector but what is the conventional wisdom on mounting 6x6
slides. Do I go glassless or glass sandwich? My projector is not AF, but it
only has a 150W bulb and doesn't seem that hot. It seems ...

Lowepro backpack for MF system07 Mar 2004 05:48 GMT4
I would like to buy a backpack for cycling with a Rollei 6008 with a few
lenses in a backpack, keeping it as small as possible. Does anyone have
first hand experience of the Orion AW or the MiniTrekker AW ? Would it
handle a 3 lens kit with a hood and some filters?
lenses for Bronica zenza06 Mar 2004 16:37 GMT2
I've been using a Bronica Zenza for certain jobs for a year or so now
but exclusively with a standard lens.  I want to start having the
option of using a wide angle lens but am finding it difficult to get
any info on what lenses are out there, what makes, focal lengths
Repair for Zeiss lenses06 Mar 2004 13:55 GMT2
Alarmed by some postings in this NG for some weeks ago I checked the
shutterspeed of my Zeiss Planar 80/2.8 and Zeis Tele TEssar 250/5.6. And
found out that only the shortest speeds until some 1/15 for the Planar and
until 1/60 for the Tessar seems to be right. Gave them too little ...
Bronica gs-106 Mar 2004 04:58 GMT3
New to medium format, are the older ETR MC lenses compatible with the
Bronica GS-1?  Found a couple at a good price, but can not find any real
docs on the differences.
Thanks
150mm or 180mm lens?06 Mar 2004 03:34 GMT9
I would like to buy a telephoto for my 501c hasselblad.  Does anyone have an
opinion on 150mm vs 180mm lens?  I shoot primarily landscapes and on
occasion take some family portraits.  Is the 180mm lens too tight for
portraits?
What was wrong with film?04 Mar 2004 14:44 GMT347
I'm not trying to troll - I'm actually serious about this.  What was so
bad about film that's generating this incredible interest in digital
cameras?
Many people have made the analogy between film and vinyl records, but
Change in repair policy at Mamiya America03 Mar 2004 05:11 GMT13
For those of you who don't read the Mamiya 7 forum on the Mamiya USA
Corporation (MAC) website...
In the past MAC's policy towards repairs was quite reasonable - they
would repair any Mamiya camera or lens, regardless of where it was
Need an instrction manual for your camera, flash or lens?02 Mar 2004 13:21 GMT18
Hi all! Are you in need of a factory instruction or repair manual for that old
camera sitting in the drawer. Manual Express offers instruction and repair
manuals for many older and newer model camera, flashes and lenses. NIKON,
PENTAX, CANON, MINOLTA, VIVTAR, HASSLEBLAD, and many, ...
Mamiya Price02 Mar 2004 07:42 GMT8

comes w/ it, but they are selling it for $550.00US.  Anyone know if this is
a good price or not?  Earl
Grain of salt.01 Mar 2004 15:35 GMT8
Someone pointed out a review of the Arsat 30mm fisheye on
www.luminous-landscape.com . They gave a less than stelar review and posted
some sample shots showing their resolution "test". My arsat always seemed
extra sharp and then someone noticed in image #5, the camera isn't even
mamiya "C" vs "N" lens01 Mar 2004 15:17 GMT4
