Older Metz 45 flash?17 Mar 2004 06:08 GMT7
I'm getting a Metz 45-CT3. Do these have high sync voltages? Or if
they do any chance the ttl modules will handle it? Also any reason not to go
with the AA battery holder?

Hasselblad A12 to Telescope Adaption14 Mar 2004 15:49 GMT5
I remember seeing in an Astronomy mag several years ago, where an amateur
astronomer adapted a Hasselblad A12 film magazine for use in
astrophotography.  As I remember the A12 was the only Blad piece used and it
was attached at the telescope prime focus.  Can anyone shed some light ...
Contax 645 Polaroid Back13 Mar 2004 22:44 GMT2
I just got a used polaroid back for my contax 645 and it didn't come
with instructions (and the contax website, by the way, is useless).  It
took me half a pack of Polaroid film (Polapan Pro 100) to figure out how
to load/expose/develop the film properly.

Is $250 a good price for Minolta Autocord RA?12 Mar 2004 18:36 GMT16
I've been offered a Minolta Autocord RA for $250 USD. It has a 'second
generation Rokkor taking lens that is very sharp and contrasty' and
dates from 1957. It was CLA'd by Karl Bryan of Oregon last year.
Is this a good price? I'm totally new to medium format photography.
Mamiya 712 Mar 2004 15:36 GMT2
I received a Mamiya 7 body today from an ebay auction w/ the manual to follow.
In the mean time how do I change the body from 120 to 220 and back?
Also on "A" how do I tell if the apt and Fstop are correct.  On Manual I see
the shutter speed lays across itself, and to me that ...
Wide angle lenses for RBs11 Mar 2004 23:25 GMT7
Before I ask my questions I just want to say that I've only used/owned a 90mm
lens and an extention tube so far for my RB, so I'm not too experienced with
any other RB lenses:
I was wondering how much of a difference there would be between a 50mm and a
Kiev 8810 Mar 2004 21:31 GMT10
I am thinking of trying my hand at Medium format photography and was
wondering if a Kiev 88 is a worthwile starter camera.
First of all.  Is the Kiev 88 any good or am I just getting what I pay for.
You don't have to explain to me that they are not as good as a Hasselblad, I
Koni Omega Rapid ?10 Mar 2004 17:59 GMT21
Can anyone of such knowledge give me a good understanding
of these systems? I need an inexpensive way to get into medium
format and I notice these cameras sell cheaply on ebay with lots
of listings. Are there fan sites for these cameras?

SL66 film back09 Mar 2004 12:25 GMT8
A few months ago I bought my first MF camera, an used SL66, and since
then it work very well for me. However, at the moment when I decided
to look for a spare film back, I discovered that the slide on the back
attached to the camera is missing and so it cannot be separated from
