Rolleinar infos06 Feb 2004 10:50 GMT2
Few questions about Rolleinar. I've bought a complete kit made of 3
pieces: two rolleinar and one rolleiparkeil. Here are the questions:
1) Is it the same to mount one or the other Rolleinar on the shot
lens?
6008i metering issues - by design?06 Feb 2004 00:51 GMT4
This is a follow up on my prior posting.
I got my replacement new 6008i and it shows the same metering issue as the
first. At EV's below about 5, the meter goes haywire and increasingly
overexposes compared to trusted meters and cameras. Now some have suggested
RZ or RB 50 mm?05 Feb 2004 06:22 GMT4
I'm an RZ user trying to decide between two used lenses, the Z and the one
meant for the RB. While the Z version will be more convenient to use, it's
always gotten mixed reviews (this is the non-ULD). In contrast, I've heard
nothing but good things about the RB 50 mm. The optical ...
C41 processing in small tank05 Feb 2004 04:57 GMT2
Can anyone advise an economical way to process C41 films in a single spiral
tank. My tank needs 500ml for a 120 film but reusing dev. seems fraught with
difficulties of. I got Nova C41 powder to make 1 litre of working strength
dev because it's advertised as developing 12 films ...
Flatbed Scanner Recommendations?05 Feb 2004 01:34 GMT12
Am looking at getting one of the following flatbed scanners and wondering if
anyone else has thoughts on their results for 6x7/MF scans?
Epson 3170; Epson 3200 & Canon 9900f
I am leaning towards the 3170 due to the price and am happy to wait using
Dumb question about C41 stabilizer04 Feb 2004 09:58 GMT3
Is C41 stabilizer the same as E6 stabilizer? Rather, the question is, do I
need to keep both solutions around? Can I just dunk the CN film in the E6
stabilizer after it's done washing?
Thanks.

Remote Release L for 6008?03 Feb 2004 08:43 GMT13
I have seen a Rollei Remote Release L and wondered if it is OK for the 6008?
It has the normal multiple way connector on one end and a slim black control
on the other, with a single green button on one side and an orange slider on
the underside, obviously for shutter and mirror.
Mamiya 6 advice for MF beginner02 Feb 2004 18:35 GMT8
I've been thinking and reading around a first MF purchase, and have
landed on the Mamiya 6, having considered the Kievs, 2nd hand Fujis
and Bronicas, etc.
Are there any compelling reasons not to get the Mamiya? I have no
Rollei 6008 metering issues02 Feb 2004 14:15 GMT19
I have just bought a 6008. The meter is accurate in daylight, but at low
light levels the meter starts to increasingly over expose, up to 2 stops at
the low light threshold. The target is a large white wall.
The meter I am comparing to is a Minolta flashmeter VI and a new Nikon F80.

Mirror Lockup Necessary on Tripod?01 Feb 2004 14:35 GMT15
I'm looking to get into medium format photography.  I feel like I've
pretty much maxed what I can do with 35mm and want to go to the next
stage.
I shoot almost exclusively outdoors and nature.  I almost always take
