| Mamiya RB67 Left Hand Grip Problems/Questions | 18 Feb 2004 18:23 GMT | 4 |
Just received a left hand grip for my Mamiya RB67 Pro S. Can't figure out how it's supposed to trip the mirror/shutter. For one thing, the trigger won't budge more than half a millimeter, and for another, there's no obvious way to couple the grip with camera's shutter release. ...

| New discussion online about Epson 4870 | 18 Feb 2004 14:52 GMT | 2 |
I've added a discussion about the Epson 4870 to the tips section of my web site. Since their have been several good reviews posted already I've restricted myself to some comparisons of the resolution compared to other scanners; specifically the Minolta 5400 and an older 1600 dpi

| question about mf aspect ratio | 16 Feb 2004 21:17 GMT | 53 |
I just got back my 1st roll from my Agfa foldup which is 6 by 6. These tiny 4 inch square prints were exposed properly etc but having used 35 mm I'm used to rectangular prints. I can go up to 12 by 12 using 13 inch by 19 paper on my Canon S9000,

I was just given a Beseler Universal Colorhead enlarger from a friend. It looks to be pretty old, but I am not sure. Has anyone ever ran across one of these enlargers? It looks to be medium format B&W enlarger, but it is called a color head enlarger. If anyone has any info on ...

| Scan grain aliasing | 14 Feb 2004 14:42 GMT | 1 |
I just read an article on grain clumping in scans; some other thread here had a link that probably led me to that. I forget the details. Anyhoo... I was just cleaning up some scans made the previous evening, and noticed two

I've never seen "T-" designations on any other kind of camera. What are the folks in LOMO talking about?

| Film Reviews | 14 Feb 2004 03:22 GMT | 1 |
I have a copy of the "Amphoto Book of Film" 1992. A lot has changed since then. Is their an independent web based review of films? Or alternatively a more recent book? Amphoto does not seem to have updated this title.

| Lubitel Mysteries | 12 Feb 2004 20:39 GMT | 5 |
So I've reverted to using a Lubitel to feed the rollfilm habit. Light leaks. Sub-optimal lenses. questionable focusing. However, the most mysterious thing: the top 1/3 of the frame is massively underexposed--by as much as a stop, and I can't think why it

| Two lens kit thoughts? | 12 Feb 2004 18:08 GMT | 12 |
I've decided to stick with the Bronica ETRSi system and sell my 'blad gear, but as a compromise i'm ditching my elderly MC lenses in favour of PE glass. I think I might be relatively happy starting out with the two lens kit of 60mm and 135mm (with the option of a 180mm later) as ...
