Scanning MF with a future option of LF13 Jan 2004 01:08 GMT3
I would like to look into a flatbed scanner that can scan negatives.
I would like to scan my strips of 3 6x6cm negatives, but as in the
future I might want to go try LF, I want to keep my options open for
larger film sizes.  Any reccomendations?  Are there any webpages about

Just how hard is it to get a "C" hasselblad lense repaired?12 Jan 2004 05:34 GMT1
I've been looking at buying a hasselblad (500c/500cm) for a while, but
being a student my budget is pretty limited.  I've saved up about
1600-1700 which would allow me to buy a bargain 500c/cm and a couple
of "C" lenses (150,250).  I understand that parts for the chrome

Perhaps someone has modified a neck strap to fit this camera.
I would greatly appreciate any information from someone who has done
this or can suggest how to do it.

Fuji GA645ZI Lens Speed11 Jan 2004 13:38 GMT3
I have my eye on a Fuji GA645ZI and I am curious about the lens speed. The
Built-in 55-90mm F4.5-6.9 lens seems to me to be quite slow.
Could current users comment on the lens speed and how, if at all, it has
affected your photo taking?
International shipping of camera safe?11 Jan 2004 05:54 GMT6
I'm considering buying a camera (Rollei 6000 series - not sure which yet)
from B&H in the States  and having it shipped to me in Australia.  Is
international shipping of cameras generally regarded as a safe risk in terms
of possible damage in transit, or am I likely to get a broken ...

Hartblei tit shift lens10 Jan 2004 22:22 GMT9
Was looking at the russian Hartblei 45mm tilt shift lenses for 645 on eBay,
and then elsewhere on the web. Any experience with them here? I've read the
Luminous Landscape review, looked at Xato's galleries, and browsed
Hartblei's and Kiev Camera's websites. I know a little about the ...
FS: HASSELBLAD 553 EXL AND ACCESSORIES10 Jan 2004 07:13 GMT1
The following camera kit is for sale for $2500.00. It was
conservatively priced on www.KEH.com for $2763.00, not including the
hard-shell aluminum  Hasselblad case. The prices in parenthesis next
to the item is the price quoted on KEH.com.

Yashica Mat 124G Vs Rolleicords08 Jan 2004 21:26 GMT15
I just purchased my 1st ever medium format, a Rolleicord twin-lens-reflex,
Monday of last week (almost 2 weeks ago). I have been happy with it, though
it apparently needs a CLA (clean-lubricate-adjust) as shutter-speeds from
1 - 1/8 second are a tad too slow.
