| CLA on 'blad backs. | 11 Dec 2003 22:09 GMT | 3 |
A couple of questions, first what does a CLA on a working back normally run? They seem to work fine but are old and have no idea when they were last serviced. One (an A24) feels a little rougher than the others 2 A12's I have, is that normal? I don't think it is and am thinking it ...

| Tripod weight capacity? | 11 Dec 2003 19:24 GMT | 13 |
Is the weight capacity listed for various tripods a good guide to use when shopping for tripod legs? I need some tripod legs for my Pentax 67II, and even with my heaviest lens (165mm) the camera weighs less than 6 lbs., which falls well within the specs of the legs that I've been ...

| bellows lens hood | 11 Dec 2003 12:55 GMT | 13 |
Can you use a bellows lens hood that is sometimes used on medium format cameras like Mamiya on a 35 mm camera? I like the idea of a collapsible bellows hood but was wondering if anyone ever used one on 35 mm camera. Don

| The obligatory "I stepped up to medium format" post. | 10 Dec 2003 16:00 GMT | 1 |
I find that phrase amusing. I actually feel more like a man today. I noticed it in the mirror this morning. I really did look rather buff. More buff than yesterday before I pulled the trigger on the brand spanking new Bronica RF645 at BH with the 450 dollar rebate. The fact that ...

| Shutter Release Button for Rolleicord VA Type 2 | 10 Dec 2003 05:34 GMT | 2 |
I just received my TLR yesterday. Seems to work fine so far, but what is supposed to be the shutter release is threaded and accepts a cable release--AND that is the ONLY way I can get it to fire. Is there some threaded button or something which I'm supposed to have to use

| Basic camera-mount/tripod questions! | 09 Dec 2003 13:40 GMT | 18 |
Okay, so I just got this big heavy caricature of a 35mm SLR called a "Pentax 67II" and I know nothing about mounts, or tripods! Up until now, all of my cameras have been small & light and just about any $50 tripod worked just fine, but I think I'm in a different arena now and I ...

| Mamiya 7 vs Mamiya 7 II | 08 Dec 2003 19:52 GMT | 1 |
Dear Group, What are the differences between the Mamiya 7 and the 7 II? And, are the differences worth the extra 40% or 50% I would pay for these extras on the used market? Are all the lenses for these two bodies interchangable?

| Pentax 67 rear coverters | 07 Dec 2003 02:52 GMT | 1 |
I´m a little confused about Pentax 67 1.4 x converter. Some sources mention that it fits 120mm soft lens while others mention that it only fits 165mm and longer focals!(?) Also, how do you compare the optical quality of both converters?

| Repair recommendation | 06 Dec 2003 15:43 GMT | 1 |
A few months ago I picked up a Bronica ETR outfit on ebay, as it had some problems I looked around for someone to repair the body. I found a shop near Seattle called Friday Creek Camera who put the body back into working order quickly and at a very reasonable price. A few days ago ...
