| Cutting Negatives | 23 Dec 2003 00:34 GMT | 5 |
Silly newbie questions here, I know--but the type that one who is shooting 120 film for the first time ever just the last week tends to ask. Our labs here return 120 film uncut. It's left up to us to slice them as needed. That is typically not THAT hard with daylight photos, but ...

| US$350 - Rolleiflex E/F or Pentacon? | 22 Dec 2003 18:10 GMT | 8 |
I have been using a Seagull TLR for about 8 years but it is now beyond economic repair. So I am now looking in the used market for a MF camera for about $350. Should I get a Rolleiflex E/F or should I get a pentacon. Can I use my Takumar lenses on the pentacon? I know these

| Fisheye options | 22 Dec 2003 04:28 GMT | 2 |
I have a rollei 6000 series camera with lenses that accept bay 6. Are the pro-optic adapters useable? I know I would use a bay 6 to 67 mm but would the image circle be tiny? I already know about the Kiev fisheye and I can't afford the zeiss 30mm.

| Another new expensive techie-toy suggestion! | 21 Dec 2003 21:12 GMT | 11 |
I just had a brilliant idea! What about a device that you can screw into your viewfinder that will convert & send the viewfinder image to a LCD, cool huh? I'm thinking that it would be on a short cable (viewfinder attachment on one end and the display at the other end) so you ...

| Fixing Slow Shutter Speeds on Rolleicord | 20 Dec 2003 17:17 GMT | 3 |
As I've mentioned several times I just got my first medium format, a Rolleicord VA Type 2 TLR. Test shots show it to work great. One thing though--the slower shutter speeds, 1/4 or less, obviously aren't accurate. They are much too slow. I'd say 1 second (the slowest) stays open 2-3

| medium formats | 20 Dec 2003 06:28 GMT | 6 |
I am looking to buy a med. format camera and have been researching them but really know very little, to me the 6x7 looks like a good way to go cuz it looks to be the largest format among the more popular cameras available and there are 6x7's available that are not too bulky. I am ...

| rear element of Yashica Mat | 20 Dec 2003 01:51 GMT | 2 |
I just picked up a YashicaMat on eBay for $50 (with case and lens cap). Its in very nice cosmetic shape and everything appears to function fine with the shutter speeds appearing to be correct (even 1second). Unfortunately the rear element of the taking lens has lots of bubbles in

| Lens fungus? | 20 Dec 2003 01:46 GMT | 5 |
I just purchased a lens on ebay and and from all outward appearances it's in excellent condition, except when I look at the front element at an angle, I can see some very faint fogging, kinda' like you would see if the glass were cold and brought into a warm room, should I be ...

| Mamiya 645AF Focus Adjustment | 19 Dec 2003 04:29 GMT | 5 |
What the subject says- Does there exist a "simple" autofocus adjustment "trimmer" for the Mamiya 645AF? I bought a kit (traded lots of other gear for something automated, actually) and as I use the camera I find that the autofocus constantly stops *just* short of where I'd put it ...
