Seeking quality lab: slides to prints02 Nov 2003 14:33 GMT6
Locally I found a lab that does a pretty decent job creating prints
off a couple rolls of slide film (yes, yes, I know - I should use
print film instead).  But, the quality is still a noticeable
degradation from teh original.
Camera suggestions?02 Nov 2003 13:20 GMT91
I'm about to retire and I want to get serious again about Photography!
I have this old Rolleiflex TLR 2.8 Planar that I just love, nothing I've
ever owned can compare to the razor sharp images that it's capable of
producing, but I'm thinking that I might want to pick up a used SLR
SELLING ALL MY EQUIPMENT02 Nov 2003 02:40 GMT6

slides.  I found Mamiya makes a nice one that allows me to see my
entire 6x7 positives.
Are there other options, or do you buy smaller ones and view just part
Making the jump01 Nov 2003 01:54 GMT103
I'm an aspiring photographer currently shooting with a 3.3 MP P&S
Sony.  I want to make the jump to higher resolution images, and rather
than stop at a typical dSLR, I was thinking of getting into medium or
large format.  Do you all have any suggestions?  I mostly shoot
Kinderman projector lens upgrade page01 Nov 2003 01:04 GMT6
Wrote a quick page about how I did this upgrade to my kinderman projector.
Still have to work out the details of getting the dark slide to work
smoothly but this shows the basics of adapting a rollei lens to a kinderman
projector. Search german ebay for these as they have been ...
