| Compur rapid | 08 Nov 2003 19:21 GMT | 3 |
I did a CLA for a pre-war compur rapid. Everything else works Ok, times are ok, just for some reason the B and T settings won't work. The shutter starts to open and then there is a click and the shutter closes.

| Epson 3200 2450 3170 New Film Holder | 07 Nov 2003 18:41 GMT | 1 |
Like many users of 3200, 2450 and 3170 scanners, I have never been happy with the Epson supplied film holders for medium format. It always irked me that I had to move the film after each scan (and risk dropping it or getting finger prints on it somehow) AND I couldn't set it up to ...

| Russian MF Cameras? | 07 Nov 2003 17:19 GMT | 25 |
I know that the Kiev system is often referred to as "Russian". But currently and going forward, it is a Ukranian product. So who's making MF cameras in Russia? Are any of them left? And are there any P6 mount lenses being made in Russia?

| Mamiya RB 67 Pro-S film insert and odd "click" | 07 Nov 2003 02:42 GMT | 7 |
Is it normal, that when you wind the film to next frame (or even with an empty insert), there is a slightly more resistace and small "clicking" sound (a single click) in about midway? I'm refering to the basic 120 roll film holder (revolving). It is a quite old model - I believe.

I have some talent in 35mm and digital photography. I've been thinking about MF for some time. I'm just having a hard time deciding where to start ($). I'd like at least a little flexibilty without wiping out the bank account. Suggestions?

| Questions: Rolleicord VA Type 2 | 05 Nov 2003 13:17 GMT | 6 |
I just won a Rolleicord VA Type 2 on eBay. It's my first venture ever into medium format. I've been shooting Nikon 35mm SLRs for years. My main question is about filters. How do I go about getting filters for this camera? I'm mostly into getting a polarizer since medium-formats are

| Mamiya RZ67 and Quamtum radio slave or Pocket Wizard | 03 Nov 2003 11:28 GMT | 1 |
I currently use a Mamiya RZ67, with a power winder, and a Quantum Radio Slave. I use the combo because I am a photographer, and a model, so I am in many photos with another model. We use this setup so we can both be in the photos, yet have a way to remotely fire the camera, and ...
