MF System with the most mechanical problems?30 Nov 2003 13:23 GMT33
I would think Kowa and Pentacon would be at the top of the list.  Any
others worthy of the same notoriety?
Repair Manual for Rapid Omega 20030 Nov 2003 01:21 GMT1
From what I've gathered the service manual for the Rapid Omega 200 is the same
as the one for the Koni-Omega M, is this correct?  Does anyone have a link for
a copy of this on the web (I already found the instruction manual), or a
pointer to a place where it can be purchased for a ...

the only one who thinks so?

Coolscan 8000ed (glass holder?)27 Nov 2003 07:23 GMT15
How important is the glass film holder for 120 film on the 8000ed?
I use a glass holder for convention enlarging and find it important.
But for the 8000ed?
I'm teetering towards a purchase decision.
Pentax 645 primes?26 Nov 2003 02:01 GMT5
I've got a Pentax 645N II and three zooms, but I'd like to add a prime or
three when I'd like to travel light. I'm looking at the 45 2.8, 75 2.8, and
150 2.8. Any experience with these lenses? Any other suggestions? I'm open
to either MF or AF versions, used or new.
Zoom vs. fixed focal length26 Nov 2003 01:51 GMT89
Generally speaking, do you sacrifice performance with a zoom lens compared
to a fixed focal length lens?  Specifically, the Pentax 67, 55-100mm f/4.5
compared to the 67 fixed focal length lenses?
Thanks all!

Brightscreen comments?25 Nov 2003 01:48 GMT8
Ho, Group--
Any experiences, pro or con, with Brightscreens?  (That's the brand name, allegedly superior to Beattie Intensescreens.)  Thinking about one for my RB67, but they are pricey, so I thought I'd check with the knowledgeable and friendly folk hereabout.  TIA.

Pentax 645NII Users24 Nov 2003 22:17 GMT4
I just purchased a 645NII. second hand with warranty.
Everything seems fine apart from the Mirror Lock Up. I am not sure if I am
doing something wrong or if there is a problem with the camera.
I put the camera into M.UP mode.  I focus and then push the shutter release.
Ground glass in Polaroid back?24 Nov 2003 18:47 GMT3
I was wondering if there was a ground glass part manufactured to fit
into a Polaroid 600 series back.  You know the on on the back of the
Polaroid 600SE.
Thanks in advance for any information.
finally made the jump to medium format with a Seagull24 Nov 2003 11:41 GMT6
It took me over a year to make the jump to a Seagull.
You would prob'y have to search an archive, I made a few posts
concerning costs.  I labored over the decision for over a year, and
decided that the Seagull 109 was the way to go.  I was very surprised
Sunpak 522 & ETRSI Question24 Nov 2003 03:46 GMT4
I received a Sunpak 522 flash unit and would like to know if anyone can
advise me on how to use the auto setting properly.
I don't have the manual.
I'll be using it with a Bronica ETRSI.
Pentax 645 or Mamiya 645 ??23 Nov 2003 10:13 GMT9
I am interested in purchasing either of these systems - used. Pentax
645 or Mamiya 645. Older rather than newer since cost is a concern. I
have been checking them out on ebay.ca Yes, I'm in Canada so a
Canadian perspective re service/repairs would be appreciated!
