| Coolscan 8000ed (glass holder?) | 27 Nov 2003 07:23 GMT | 15 |
How important is the glass film holder for 120 film on the 8000ed? I use a glass holder for convention enlarging and find it important. But for the 8000ed? I'm teetering towards a purchase decision.

| Pentax 645 primes? | 26 Nov 2003 02:01 GMT | 5 |
I've got a Pentax 645N II and three zooms, but I'd like to add a prime or three when I'd like to travel light. I'm looking at the 45 2.8, 75 2.8, and 150 2.8. Any experience with these lenses? Any other suggestions? I'm open to either MF or AF versions, used or new.

Generally speaking, do you sacrifice performance with a zoom lens compared to a fixed focal length lens? Specifically, the Pentax 67, 55-100mm f/4.5 compared to the 67 fixed focal length lenses? Thanks all!

I just purchased a 645NII. second hand with warranty. Everything seems fine apart from the Mirror Lock Up. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or if there is a problem with the camera. I put the camera into M.UP mode. I focus and then push the shutter release.

It took me over a year to make the jump to a Seagull. You would prob'y have to search an archive, I made a few posts concerning costs. I labored over the decision for over a year, and decided that the Seagull 109 was the way to go. I was very surprised
