616 Size Archival Sleeves08 Oct 2003 02:18 GMT1
I have a large number of 616 negatives for which I'm seeking a storage
solution. I have some poly negative sleeves for this size, but they're
no longer manufactured. I've search the web and talked with several of
the major archival sleeve manufacturers and have come up empty handed.

The Wall Street Journal (Sept 25th) front page article on Kodak notes:

any suggestions?

good b&w medium format portrait film06 Oct 2003 00:26 GMT31
I just purchased a used Mamiya C330f and I want to start learning medium
format portrait photography. Can anyone recommend a b&w medium format film
that will render natural, smooth skin tones under natural light? Also,
what's a good portrait lens for this camera? Thanks.
RB 67 camera shake05 Oct 2003 19:15 GMT7
How serious is the problem of camera shake in the Mamiya RB 67?  Since the mirror does NOT return automatically, it seems to me the vibration it causes should be dissipated by the time the shutter blades open.  Is a double cable release worth the money to buy and the ...
Advice wanted, what cameras should I consider?05 Oct 2003 07:03 GMT3
I am looking for a med format camera to take on mountaineering trips.
I don't anticipate taking photos in extreme situations - that is what
pocket automatic cameras are for. This would be for scenery photos.
Ideally it would be:
One giant leap...04 Oct 2003 20:32 GMT6
... in an expensive direction.
On a spur of the moment decision, I rang up today to order a Hasselblad
120mm f5.6 T* makro lens from a sale. I don't even have a 'blad to put it on
yet... so I guess I damn well made up my mind that i'm getting one.

Yashica C sticky shutter04 Oct 2003 14:32 GMT1
I have just recovered my Yashica C which has been in storage for about 8

it will release with very gentle pressure and operate for a ...
