Maco UP 100 special from J&C?14 Oct 2003 15:18 GMT3
Anybody try the surplus film from J&C? I'm curious what it's like.
One local shop sells a film with a rating of 64/50 in 35mm format for 5x the
price per roll. Maco's website  only shows the 100 and not this 64
speed film.
Is Bronica the answer ... 14 Oct 2003 05:04 GMT22
to my medium format goals?
I'm contemplating a dive into MF. Just extending the hobby, I don't expect
to ever sell a slide or make a buck at this.  These are my goals and
constraints.  I think they call for a used Bronica ETRSi as the solution.
Pentax 645 - Desireable S/N ranges?14 Oct 2003 02:37 GMT4
I've been an avid Pentax 35mm user for a number of years, and am now
thinking about takin the plunge into the world of the Pentax 645 - Some
good used 645 deals seem to come up from time to time (eBay, local
shops, etc.).
Light seal kit for A12?13 Oct 2003 22:33 GMT4
Is it possible to get a light seal kit for a Hasselblad A12 magazine?
It is my impression that changing a light seal could be done as "doing it
your self"?

Enlarger focal lens for 6X713 Oct 2003 18:40 GMT7
I am printing my own 6X7 negatives at home and I am using a 105 mm lens. I
find that I the range of enlargement is limited: the enlarger column (Meopta
Opemus 7) is at the very maximum to achieve a 30X40 print. I would like to
make larger prints. What can of lens would I need for ...
Ensign Selfix 820 Camera11 Oct 2003 22:07 GMT2
I have one of these cameras in excellent condition for sale. It
belonged to my father - one careful owner from 1951. No pin holes in
the bellows and all round tip top condition. I'll send jpegs of it if
you're interested.
It's here.....11 Oct 2003 08:03 GMT4
Today my 500CM arrived. I'd love to say I was like a boy on Christmas
morning, only for some reason I haven't felt excited about buying a camera
for a long time (now I just get financially-motivated panic attacks and
instant "Buyer's Remorse"). It's a fine machine, and in quite ...
6x6 and the size of the and weight of the normal lens?10 Oct 2003 19:09 GMT2
On my Yashicamat TLR the 85mm taking lens is small and light, but on
my Kowa (like the hassie) the 85mm lense is large and heavy.  Why is
that?
NEWBIE Question10 Oct 2003 08:48 GMT2
Hi...  I'm currently using a Mamiya C330 & want to get into a Mamiya
SLR.  I'm not sure which one to hook up with, so I was wondering if
there was a recent book or website which lays out the different models
and their accessories. I'm talking about something like an HPBooks
Sekonic meters10 Oct 2003 03:10 GMT9
Looking for some help in choosing a new meter for digital and film, studio etc.
Considering Sekonic 358.  Any opinions?  I guess that is a stupid question right?
Radio Slave channels09 Oct 2003 22:20 GMT1
My old radio slave only has the one channel.  I'm looking at various
devices, I see quantum 4i with a choice of channel a, b, c or d.   I thought
modern slaves had a choice of a half dozen channels or more?  why or how do
you decide which channel to buy?
Mirror Lockup with RZ6709 Oct 2003 18:54 GMT1
There have been several posts recently about mirror lockup on the RB67,
which I understand is easily achieved, although I don't use an RB. I do use
RZ67 for which I always have used the twin cable release to flip the mirror
before exposure. It occurs to me that given that the RB67 ...
45 Prism Finder for Hassy 202FA?09 Oct 2003 09:40 GMT1
I contacted a dealer for Kiev.
Just to add to the body of information, a NC-2 finder will NOT work properly
with a 200 series body.
Thus I am considering a hassy 45 non-metered prism.

Non automatic Hasselblad film magazine09 Oct 2003 04:47 GMT3
I have just received an old Hasselblad back (non automatic) and I have
few questions prior to test it with film.
1. I was expecting that the little window in the back of the shell (to
see when one has reached the frame 1 has a red filter, but my back
