| Hasselblad 500mm lens | 19 Oct 2003 01:03 GMT | 9 |
Does anyone have images to share shot with the Hasselblad 500mm lenses? Any version of the lens? I may need a reality check. I must have unrealistic expectations, but I did not get the kind of sharpness I had hoped with one.

| roll-film backs | 18 Oct 2003 14:18 GMT | 9 |
The troube with roll-film backs for old cameras accustomed to cut plate is that the film gets gathered up with the film surface on the outside which must then be protected by the spare paper at the end. It would happily unwind itself too since the film is bent opposite to the ...

Awhile back I posted about a light-weight tripod (for backpacking) to use with my Fuji 6x9 range-finder. Thanks to all the suggestions I received then, I have decided to go with a Bogen 3001 and a simple ballhead.

| 'blad 60mm lens? | 18 Oct 2003 02:56 GMT | 7 |
I've been toying with the idea of getting a 500c/500cm with a 60mm as a "backup" to my hartblei. I'd like to have a backup body, this hartblei camera uses blad backs so I'll already have them with me. Since I have very good wide, normal and tele lenses in P-6 mount, the only place ...

I have seen some polaroid backs for my RB67 and I was wondering what is the use of it: ok for checking exposure but does it produce also a negative usable for enlargement ? Other question: is it easy to find polaroid films and at what cost (I am based in the UK).

| Fuji GA645W vs. Zi | 17 Oct 2003 00:45 GMT | 6 |
My beloved GA645W took a bath in the Grand Canyon, and the Fuji repair shop said that because of rust it was unrepairable. I loved my 645W. My options at this point is to buy a used 645W (they don't make new ones anymore) or to buy the new 645Zi.

| Hassy 500cm with long lens? Cutoff? | 16 Oct 2003 11:05 GMT | 6 |
Looking at the 500cm series its mentioned that when using long lenses there is some cutoff from the viewfinder. I'm used to shooting using a MF with 120mm macro and 250mm lenses and was considering the 500cm but now I am worried about composing with these limitations.
