Kodak Pocket folding No.122 Oct 2003 21:48 GMT4
I recently dug out one of my parents old caremas. A kodak No.1 pocket
folding with a Kodex shutter No.0 (T B 25 50). Obviously the manual has
been lost in the distant past. The proble I have is working out the
f-stop equivalents to the shutters (1 2 3 4) positions.

Hello, is there anyone out there who can give me some information on my
Minoltaflex or point me to some literature?  I am trying to find out what
year it was made and if I should put any money into it to get it working
well again.  As far as I can tell, there is a small light leak ...

Backpacking and Medium Format22 Oct 2003 01:24 GMT13
After looking into the cost and size of many camera backpacks and seeing
nothing that I like or willing to part with a small fortune to buy. I have
decided that I will just alter my current Kelty with a little more padding.
I have several smaller padded camera bags that  I have been ...
New Epson 4800 dpi Flatbed21 Oct 2003 19:24 GMT1
The following link was posted to the Epson 3200/2450 User's group at Yahoo
by a gentleman named Jon.  Since I hadn't seen a post about it in the
newsgroups, I thought it would worthwhile to pass the link on.

Mamiya RB 6x6 Back: does it exist?21 Oct 2003 15:02 GMT1
I checked out Mamiya's website, but they do not have a 6x6 back listed
for the RB Pro-SD; only 6x7 and 6x4.5.
Does a back exist for shooting 6x6 on a Pro-SD, or am I reduced to
cropping in the darkroom and wasting film?

not studio settings.
I have an option of a Mamiya 645 AF with 80 mm lens.
Honeywell Stroboeye20 Oct 2003 21:18 GMT3
I recently purchased 3 Honeywell Strobonars 770, 772 and a 782. The
770 has a built in sensor the other two of the flashes use stroboeyes.
One of the stroboeyes have a broken pc connector latch. The other has
a short in the pc cord that connects to the shutter which causes
b&w medium format fine art film20 Oct 2003 18:06 GMT156
I'm looking for a good medium format black and white film to use for fine
art photography. I will be shooting under outdoor natural light and indoor

suggestions. Thanks.

Hello owners of Mamiya RB67 Pro.
Can anybody tell me if the focusing screen Microprism is better than a
Horizontal Split?
Have problems with focusing.
"To cut or not to Cut", that is my question20 Oct 2003 03:45 GMT5
As a newbee of medium format photography, I am unfamiliar with the
advantages/disadvantages of cutting the 120 negatives I receive from
the lab.
For each roll, I receive a short tube that contains the uncut film.
advise needed: shooting exhibits behind glass19 Oct 2003 21:29 GMT5
I have been visiting museums and find many interesting exhibits that are
well lit. I am shooting with a C330 and an incident meter.
There is a glass barrier between me and subject, therefore metering for the
light that the subject is recieving is tricky at best. I tried holding my
Sources for 22019 Oct 2003 20:36 GMT5
Penny pincher that I am, are there any domestic US sources (imports &
private brands are ok) of inexpensive 220 CN or BW films? I use iso 400 and
greater.

Are There Any Shirt Pocket Size Spot Meters?19 Oct 2003 10:31 GMT14
I'd rather not be thought to be carrying a gun. Also I don't need
the bulk or weight of the pistol grip meters. I work only with ambient
light. What are the alternatives? and suggestions welcomed.
I've used an Olympus C2040 digital for my last three rolls of 120.
