Mamiya RB: which 2x tele-converter?11 Sep 2003 07:44 GMT1
I'm thinking about buying a 2x TC for the Pro S
to be used mainly in combination with the 180mm lens,
maybe also the 127mm lens.
As Mamiya never provided their own TC for the RB system,

Anyone could say me how the pentax 67 bellows works :

- is the results suitable compared to 135mm one ?
- is this gear compatible with P. 67 II ?
Ruined roll of film10 Sep 2003 14:06 GMT11
While on vacation this year, I had a roll of exposed film get wet, open and
was ruined.  Because of this I've located a source of watertight canisters
that flit 120 film snugly and I am selling them on E-bay.
Thought the rest of you might be interested.

Hasselblad filter for CF lens09 Sep 2003 05:42 GMT3
I like to buy an orange filter for my Hasselblad CF lenses. But there
I have a problem, because Hasselblad doesn't sell these black and
white filters anymore. And second hand they are hard to get. In the
Hasselblad catalogue they have the adapter 3041530 where you can put

[Advice] Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515/208 Sep 2003 19:50 GMT7
I've been in Russia and I've bought a camera for 56 euros which
pretends to be a Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515/2. Derval shutter (speeds:
1/25, 1/50, 1/100, B and T), Novar-Anastigmat lens (1:6,3/105).
I now think it's a Russian clone, however, as I saw on eBay that the
Mamiya RZ polaroid back question08 Sep 2003 11:37 GMT2
I've just bought a Mamiya polaroid back for the RZ67 from ebay.
Unfortunately it came without instructions. I am used to using polaroids on
5x4 but have no experience with roll film. Can anyone tell me the film/pack
size to get, and perhaps comment on which type to use? I normally ...
MC Biometars - will they ever run out?08 Sep 2003 11:31 GMT2
I couldn't believe the slew of Biometars (MC no less) that have been
hitting eBay in recent weeks.  Will Eastern Europe ever run out of these
lenses?  What's rare in the P6 world?  I seems like no one's in short
supply of any lens for this system.
backdrop storage07 Sep 2003 17:30 GMT1
Suggestions for cotton backdrop storage.
I don't like all the fold marks.
Mamiya  RB-67 Light Seal Replacement07 Sep 2003 13:22 GMT2
Does anyone know what thickness foam should be used to replace the light
seals on the Mamiya RB67 rotating back, and also inside the RB67 film backs?
Micro-Tools sells light seal foam in several thicknesses (1mm, 2mm, 1/32",
1/16", 3/32", 1/8").
Koni Omega Rapid M missing parts - no big deal?07 Sep 2003 02:20 GMT3
I found a Koni Omega Rapid M in a used camera store.  It has the normal
Hexanon 90 MM lens and a 220 back. It does have the dark slide.  I
noticed that it is missing the outer covers of the focusing knob.  There
is a picture of the focusing knob at

Using a DC Adapter on a Flash Unit05 Sep 2003 14:56 GMT7
The mad scientist in me wants to try this...
Take the four AA bateries out of my flash unit, replace the cartidge with
non-conducting dowels that have a +ve and -ve lead wire, then plug the lead
wires to an adapter that supplies 6V.  I'm thinking the kind of adapter you
