Frame Spacing on Rollex 6x9 Linhof?30 Sep 2006 19:20 GMT2
I am writing for a friend who has Linhof 4x5 Model III camera and recently
tried to use an old model (Black with winding knob) Rollex roll film holder
on the camera.  He found the frame spacing had overlaps throughout the roll.
Has any one had similar experience and any idea what ...

8X10 B&L ZEISS PROTAR SERIES IV info needed21 Sep 2006 21:37 GMT5
Recently I bought this lens, the seller's description was vague and
picture was too small... and I was hoping it was a 8x10 Series V
protar, since I know a 183mm Series V would cover 7x17. But after the
lens arrived I found out it is a Series IV 8x10.
CLA - who besides Grimes and Flutot?19 Sep 2006 22:16 GMT6
Can anyone recommend any US sources for LF shutter CLA besides
SKGrimes and Flutot's?  Grimes are good but a bit pricey, Flutot's
good, less expensive, but temporarily not accepting work.
Thx.
Sidebar to the Internet.16 Sep 2006 02:36 GMT9
Is it just me or does anyone else out there feel like what you see in
print, on the web or even on the TV seems passe? I guess the instant
exposure has finally killed everyone else's sense of the creative.
Maybe this $40 a month bill just ain't worth it.
90mm on a Cambo SC without bag bellows?14 Sep 2006 02:38 GMT5
As the subject says, I'm wondering how useful a 90mm (Super Angulon
f/8) on a Cambo SC without bag bellows would be.
I understand I won't get many movements, if any.  This setup also
assumes that I do have the recessed lensboard.
5 Years Thoughts for 9110612 Sep 2006 23:09 GMT8
Time to move on, life goes on. As we focus on friendships and what
really matters one thing becomes apparent, that is how important it is
to have the rights and freedom to express ourselves in this world.
Photography can be a great means of expression, tempered with
"Zeiss Kodak Anastigmat"?12 Sep 2006 13:15 GMT3
Does anyone have any idea of the history of the lens currently for
sale as eBay item 250026790828?  It is marked "Zeiss Kodak Anastigmat",
a designation I've never seen before.
The seller's picture is not clear enough to let me see whether it has
Film Camaras using 70mm: do they exist?10 Sep 2006 20:42 GMT21
Film Cameras using 70mm: do they exist? One would think that the IMAX corp
could offer some kind of cheap 70mm camera (under 40 USD) that could take
70mm pictures. Yet, this is not the case.
Do you all have a darkroom?10 Sep 2006 06:37 GMT15
I have been thinking of some day getting a large format (probably 4X5)
camera but have wondered about the developing of the film.  I took a short
course while I was in the Navy on developing b/w, but I'm not sure I would
ever be doing enough to invest in another $3000 minimum for a ...
Flash - one more time09 Sep 2006 14:57 GMT7
Been ill and forgetful. Forgive the stupid question.
Using flashbulbs. Say I know the outcome for one bulb, and need four more
stops. How many flashes do I have to make?  15?
Source for lens shims?01 Sep 2006 23:20 GMT15
Does anyone know of a source for the very thin round shims sometimes
used between a lens cell and the shutter?  I think they're probably brass.
I'd like to replace one that was somehow mangled by a previous owner.
I figured I wouldn't bother trying to measure its thickness (well, ...
