filter adapter for Tominon 127/4.7 in Copal?13 May 2005 04:02 GMT1
I vaguely recall measuring 42mm (?) for a smooth push-on stubby
'barrel' on the front of this lens. There are no threads in front.
Any idea what was available to mount filters on these lenses? A
swing-arm?
Praise for Badger Graphic13 May 2005 02:34 GMT3
To turn the tables, I'd like to point out the fantastic service I got from
Badger Graphic.  After pointing out a very minor cosmetic flaw in my Shen
Hao, Jeff asked no questions and said he would replace the part.  I sent
him the part and got a replacement within 5 days from me ...
Artar bench test data for enlarging...11 May 2005 01:42 GMT7
I've just suggested the following to a friend; would appreciate folks in the
know here to check it over for concerns.  Thanks.
...  I have bench test data on a 16.5" Goerz Artar (#761897) that may help
you.  It suggests that your 210mm Agfa Helioprint process lens may be best
DIY lens shade support; alternatives?10 May 2005 18:13 GMT4
I was wondering what kind of constructions people use to attach a lens
shade to the camera or the tripod. I've got a wooden tachihara. I
bought a toyo shade for it, knowing it couldn't be installed just like
that, but I got the shade really cheap. I've got this rod system to

Simulating camera movements09 May 2005 23:27 GMT3
I just added a tip about selective blurring of an image
using Photoshop to my web site.
As I was writing it I realized that a slightly modified
version could be used to simulate the Scheimpflug effect.
150 MM on slightly recessend lens board ?09 May 2005 13:57 GMT3
I've only seen 150 MM lenses on slightly "skirted" lens boards
(projections) or maybe flat lens boards, is there a situation in which the
lens would be on a slightly recessed Durst  lens board? TIA

Market for LF gear?05 May 2005 02:45 GMT103
OK, anyone have a swag at how many
4x5" and/or 8x10" view cameras are in
active service, in the USA and the
rest of the "developed world?"
Sinar User Manual Wanted04 May 2005 20:11 GMT9
Hi everybody, have been lurking for a few months now and have gathered quite
a bit of good info. But I now need some help. I have just received a Sinar
F2 and Broncolor FCM meter and would like to get operating instruction
manuals for both. Free is preferable. Maybe some site ...
Stupid Speed Graphic Question04 May 2005 13:20 GMT5
Does the curtain shutter on the Speed Graphic move horizontally or
vertically?  In other words a 4" travel or a 5" travel?
Thanks
Metrogon cell spacing revisited HELP04 May 2005 10:19 GMT16
I know there are some folks who will howl about 'why bother' or worse.
Whatever... Most of you are busy shooting film, so don't waste your
time griping about this. I posted this in the hopes it will be of use,
as well as helping me figure out the best spacing, and I would like to
