| Tray Development | 17 Oct 2004 16:19 GMT | 28 |
I have been a big fan of tray development for 26 years. There is a step by step article on our web site in the Free Articles section www.viewcamera.com I can do 6-8 sheets at a time for different development times in one session.

| sheet film developing is hard | 17 Oct 2004 06:07 GMT | 49 |
I've gone through my first 25-sheet pack of film. I've figured out how to operate my view camera just fine. I can take a decent picture-- exposing and focusing properly. But I had no idea how difficult developing it is...I thought that would be the easy part

| Delta 400 sheet film | 14 Oct 2004 11:48 GMT | 10 |
Anyone know who might have a supply of Delta 400 4X5 sheet film left in stock now that it's been discontinued by Ilford. I've tried the big boys--B&H, Adorama, etc. No luck. I'd like to buy up a couple of hundred sheets if I can find it.

| mirror like filter | 14 Oct 2004 02:41 GMT | 2 |
In the latest Esquire magazine there's an article on/by Chuck Close (artist/photographer) where he describes placing a mirror like filter over the lens that allows the portrait sitter to see themselves while looking directly into the lens. Any ideas what this filter is or could be ...

| Graphlex Rapax shutter exercise? | 13 Oct 2004 14:49 GMT | 11 |
I have a nice Crown Graphic that I'm thinking of selling due to the high cost of Polaroid, which is really what I had bought it for. The only problem I have with it is this: The Rapax shutter works fine, except that the 1 and 1/2 second speeds become

| What does this lensboard fit? | 13 Oct 2004 12:35 GMT | 1 |
I have a nicely finished board for a Copal 3 shutter with no useful identification markings. It's metal and measures 4-inches square and about 1/8-inch thick. There's a fine fine ridge that runs just inside the edge of the back, along with the number 105822 cast

| Roll Film Backs | 12 Oct 2004 02:36 GMT | 5 |
I was eyeing the Shen-Hao, in particular because it could mate with RB67 backs with a relatively inexpensive adaptor. They've stopped offering the adaptor at Badgergraphic, and I can't find it anywhere else, so now I'm looking for an alternative. I have several RB backs, to go ...

Next to Saint Ansel, Avedon was one of my favorite photographers. Seems that he "went down shooting". What a way to go. From: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=762&e=1&u=/nm/people_avedon_dc
