| Tominon 127mm Sweet Spot @ F11 | 14 Feb 2004 05:11 GMT | 7 |
I took shots at f11, f8, f5.6, and f4.5. Turns out, f11 is the sharpest aperture for this lens, even a tiny bit sharper than f16. f22 was way blurry. I might try renting the G-Claron 150mm again, and try more

| What's missing in LF newbie online resources? | 14 Feb 2004 04:16 GMT | 41 |
Greetings, Y'all. Maybe what we/steve needs is a more comprehensive listing, posted periodically (weekly, bi-weekly?) to online LF resources? I think a periodic posting of LF URL links and pointers would be handy for newbies not sure where to start, as well as provide a LF FAQ for ...

| efke and j&c classic? | 13 Feb 2004 17:14 GMT | 3 |
Has anyone had any experience with either the Efke pl100 or J&C Classic 4X5 film? I see that they (J&C) suggest using pyro but I was wondering if anyone has used either of these with d-23, split development or water bath development.

| Of bungies and will power... | 13 Feb 2004 08:46 GMT | 3 |
Following rafe's example for newbies, I'm posting the first neg to come out of my new camera. It's not the work of art his was, but I'm still stunned to speechlessness by the sharpness and detail. For a short while, these images will be viewable at:

| lens caps ? | 09 Feb 2004 15:25 GMT | 32 |
Most of the used LF lenses listed on ebay don't seem to have lens caps. Do most LF photographers not use them ? What to use instead? I have an Angulon 90. If I get a plastic push on type should I order it undersized and assume it'll stretch to fit ?

| My first Impression of my "new to me" Linhof Master Tech 4x5 and I hate the GG! | 08 Feb 2004 19:35 GMT | 4 |
I recently picked up a very nice but not perfect Linhof Master Technica (4x5) $1300 (not bad for a Master Tech)). I must say it is very fast and easy to set up compared to my Deardorff 4x5 Special plus more compact for backpacking (My main interest in the Linhof). It included the ...

Do the older Mamiya RB67 or M645 have attachements or accesories that can store images in digital form? I recall that there was this newer Mamiya RZ67 which was supposed to replace the RB, and it has electronic capabilities beyond the old
