Hi everybody! New to the group, I need some help despretly!.
I am getting some crappy skin tones from my print setup, which at
first were coming out pretty dang good. I edit my D100 shots in my
RAW editor, then export to PS where I work strictly in Adobe1998 RGB.

I recently acquired this lens and I'm very happy with it except for the
light fall off or center 'hotspot'. Anybody in this group used Rodenstock's
center filter with this lens? I'd hate to anti-up another $300 only to find
that traded the center hotspot for bright corners...:^)

8x10 is a bigger change from 4x5 than I thought.
Handling the equipment isn't a problem because it's fairly light.  (Kodak 2D)
Lens is also modest in size (Nikkor-M 300/9).
What is a pain is getting a neg that looks really good

I just bought a Schneider Super-Angulon 65mm f5.6 lens on eBay that
doesn't seem to work right.  Or is it me?  If a bought a dog, fine, I'll
deal with it.  I seem to have a lot of trouble getting everything on the
ground glass to be in focus.  It doesn't act like my other lens:  ...

There is a 14X17 Protar Series V posted on ebay. Anyone know any
information  on this lens or what it might be worth.

Does anyone know whether Schneider changed the design of the Xenotar 80mm
f/2.8 over the years?
I have a Rolleiflex E that originally had a Xenotar 80/2.8 as the taking

I have collected several small lenses over the last while which are
missing caps. These are in the 40-45mm range. Any ideas as to where I
can find some slip on caps that don't cost a fortune?

Can you use any lens hood that will screw onto a 150mm for 4x5 work?

There are a numbers of 4x5 cut film holders available on ebay and there also
seem to be a few 4x5 Speed Graphic cameras.
To a beginner they seemed tempting. Do I have to look for a specific type of
film holder that was only made by Graflex?

i have a technika IV and i would know what 90mm lens i could use to obtain
better movements,maybe using some accessories.

pick up some supplies.  While there, I asked Jeff about the Badger
Brand cameras listed on their site.  Just as I asked him, the Fed Ex
person showed up with the very first camera, and I got to look briefly

I have been looking at a 90mm for my 4x5 crown graphic..
I see some of these were the 'normal' for the smaller
2 1/4 - 3 1/4 camera.  Are they all really the same
and will they cover 4x5. Apparently early ones
