| Tachihara 5x7 vs. ??? | 05 Nov 2003 01:23 GMT | 18 |
A 5x7 camera is likely in my future, as I prefer the aspect ratio over 4x5 and it's big enough for contact printing, at least for a start. The Tachihara is considerably less expensive than some others.

A couple of years ago when I purchased my 8x10 Deardorff the seller threw in a couple of lenses. Both have clean unmarred glass. One was a barrel mount 19 in Artar and the other a 6 1/2 in CP Goerz WA Dagor (Gold Rim) in an Ilex #3 Acme Synchro shutter on a recessed Deardorff ...

| compact 210mm lens | 01 Nov 2003 07:00 GMT | 13 |
I use my Caltar 135mm lens most of the time because it fits inside my Shen Hao 4x5 camera when it folds up (I just turn the lens around backwards before folding the camera up.) My Caltar 210mm lens does not fit this way, so it usually just comes along for the ride in my
