Burke and James, Deardorff wannabe...24 Nov 2003 04:32 GMT1
First, I would like to thank all who reply.
I was at a local antique store today and saw a 4x5/5x7 Deardorff look-alike
camera.  No markings on it except for inside the ground glass back
stamped "Burke and James"

Got a Wollensak Verito 14 1/2" Diffused Focus lens in shutter/diaphram

I did some research on 12" Commercial Ektars on the web, and it ...

the highlights.  (For the record I shoot a lot of TMX and usually don't have
to worry about highlights, it records a huge range and I ...

Some time ago, in a moment of curiousity and great weakness,
I bought a box of Fuji Acros Quickloads.  Because I hate
doing things like testing for development times, I put the
box in the fridge and ignored it.  Then I moved.  I was
Question about use of infinity stops16 Nov 2003 18:53 GMT7
For those people who have infinity stops on their camera, a question: do any
of you ever use these to set the focus at infinity *without* checking the
focus (with ground glass or rangefinder)?
I could see doing this if one was in a big hurry to get a soon-to-be-gone
