| Website recommendation needed? | 01 Nov 2003 00:00 GMT | 3 |
This is a bit off topic, but since here is where all the people I respect are, then I am going to post it here anyway. I am looking for an ecommerce web site where I can post my photos and visitors who are interested can see my pictures and order prints. I'd like this site to be

Someone wrote: "I used the long exposure with the 4x5 camera, about 6 seconds, and the business with the calculator was compensating for bellows extension. With 35mm, shooting artwork, you do not need to calculate bellows extension unless

I'm currently in the market for a new camera system, and am torn between 6x7 and a 4x5. I currently own a few Nikon bodies and a Yashica Mat 124G. I'm looking for the benefits of a larger negative plus the ability to use different focal lengths and more effectively use certain ...

I want to use a Crown graphic to shoot mostly Polaroid type 55 and some colour. 1) Do you need to clear or some other process the film immediately? Can you just stick the negs in a bag?

| 10x12 format ? | 30 Oct 2003 07:13 GMT | 3 |
I recently acquired 3 sheet film holders that appear to be for a 10"x12" format. I've never seen this format before. The holders also lack a rib which fits into the groove on the back of a camera to form the upper light trap when inserted in the camera back. Instead, the holders ...

| Polaroid type 53 Film | 29 Oct 2003 22:11 GMT | 4 |
I recently got some out of date Type 53 film and when I shot it the image looks like it is not processing evenly over to film. I get blank spots where there is no image. Sometimes, the unusual shot, everthing comes out ok except for the very edge of the frame where I can still see ...

| Picture of Weegee | 28 Oct 2003 19:38 GMT | 4 |
Somewhere on line is a photo of Weegee, standing next to a scantily clad woman, maybe on a beach, with his pants pulled up to his chest, ankles sticking out, holding a camera. He's looking incredibly clown-like, amplified by the beauty of the model.

| 1953 Film | 28 Oct 2003 09:42 GMT | 2 |
I have a few hundred sheets of Kodak "Super Panachrom Type B" film that I tried to use last year with totally black negs. I chalked it up to fogged film but am wondering if I had the correct info for the film if I could get images from it.

Hello Esteemed Group - How does one get a filter on the front? I mean like a UV or some kind of protector. I have a friend who is willing to long-term loan me the lens but I need to put a filter on it.

| Usable life of 3200K 500Watt Tungsten Bulbs? | 28 Oct 2003 00:16 GMT | 3 |
Ok, there seems to be a bit of conflicting data here. The Sylvania ECT 3200K 500watt photofloods have a life of 60 hours on the box, but someone mentioned i should cut that in half, just to be safe...so about 30-40 hours. And i should keep a record.
