Question on fresnel & gg on Crown Graflex10 Jul 2003 09:50 GMT1
My ground glass was splotchy so I took it out for cleaning.
Under it was the Fresnel. Are they supposed to be dry or is there
some kind of compound to mate them together ? If so what is it ?
What's the best way to check to see if the fresnel was done
14" lens available (maybe)08 Jul 2003 21:01 GMT8
Any chance someone here might be interested in the following lens that may be
available to me? It's a Goerz Trigor 14" f/11, currently in a large process
camera. (Made by Goerz Optical Co., looks like '80s vintage or so.)

Dye Transfer05 Jul 2003 15:10 GMT1
Hi, Folks:
Does anyone have idea where to find Dye transfer material?
I know Kodak has discontinued those material in early 1980's, but there
was a company out there still making those materials.

Has anyone else tried the great darkrooms at Strabucks. They come complete
with great light-tightedness and a sturdy table for changing film holders.

Gitzo 1415 users?03 Jul 2003 04:28 GMT1
Thinking about getting one for my arca swiss, never owned a Gitzo before, so
just wondering how well do the leg mechanisms work in real life? Also, is
1415 sufficient for 4x5, and if I decide to go 8x10 oneday, will it be able
to handle the weight of 8x10s?
