I am starting a business that needs to print 5 x 7 and 3.5 x 5 color
prints from a digital camera. This is not a business selling photo
processing. These prints are used for a item tracking systems I am
developing.
Question on Outdated B&W Film03 Apr 2006 17:14 GMT2
I just found 2 rolls of Forte Fortepan 400 B&W print film I had ordered
from B&H in 2004. They are dated as expiring in July 2005. Does anyone
have any ideas on whether it still would make decent prints, or should
I forget about it? Thanks

given a characteristic curve of a slide ( netgative ), what density
value corresponds to 18% grey?  some one said it is the D1.0, some
others said it is D0.75, which one is right and where these magic
numbers come from ?
