| Best ISO for Handheld, Indoors Like Museums | 29 Sep 2004 01:46 GMT | 6 |
Shooting museums or indoors like that. Table top tripod? Monopod?, high ISO? or simply forget it? I have used the tabletop tripod. It works, usually allowed, but too restricted when talking about finding the right position and height. I

We are going to Antarctica, South Georgia, and the Falklands in Feb 2005. Any suggestions on type of print film ( Kodak vs. Fuji) and speed? I have a Nikon F-100. When we went to Churchill 2 years ago, I used mainly Kodak Royal Gold 200 and 400 speed films and got wonderful

| How do you make backing paper? | 23 Sep 2004 19:59 GMT | 4 |
I have an old Folding Pocket Kodak camera that takes 122 format, which is very large (3 1/4 X 5 1/2). I've got one spool and I'm going to fabricate another one (from brass). I want to buy aerial film and roll my own stock, but what could I use for backing paper? I don't

| Adox Bluefire? | 23 Sep 2004 15:40 GMT | 1 |
With Technical Pan going away, I'm wondering if Adox Bluefire is in any sense a substitute. What do people know about it? It is made by the Canadian group that uses the Adox name. A German group also calls itself Adox; both sprang up after the Adox trademark lapsed.

| Cibachrome vs Fuji crystal archive revisited | 22 Sep 2004 15:02 GMT | 15 |
A couple of years ago there was an interesting thread in this group about the relative merits of Cibachrome versus Fuji Crystal. I recently submitted one 2 ¼ x 2 ¼ slide to a local photo lab to have both an Ilfochrome and a Lightjet 5000/Fuji Crystal Archive 16 x 24

| Area of 35mm film | 21 Sep 2004 21:44 GMT | 6 |
I've come across a need to know the surface area of 35mm and 120 film. I want to develop sheet film and I need to know how many sheets I can develop in a given amount of chemistry. Unfortunatly the instructions only list how many rolls of 35mm and 120 can be processed for a given ...

| Kodak perfect touch | 18 Sep 2004 05:18 GMT | 5 |
Does Kodak perfect touch make difference? Since it's much more expensive than the regular in Walmart. If so, it only works on Kodak film, or for other brand films as well? Thanks!

| Prints from scanned & edited photos | 16 Sep 2004 23:57 GMT | 4 |
I'm new here, but I have a question...I'm thinking of selling some of my photos on Ebay, and instead of getting the photos made directly from the negatives, I was going to get prints made from scans of my original prints that have been edited in PhotoShop to lighten them up some. ...

| Kodak's Ultra Color film | 07 Sep 2004 15:38 GMT | 21 |
I've just got the 100 speed roll I got in the trial pack Kodak sent me and I like what I see. The colors are saturated the way I like them without being cartoonish. I could see switching to it from Fuji's NPS. I looked around and noticed that they don't have it available as sheet ...
