keep films in fridge?30 Jun 2004 18:50 GMT15
I have heard from many people that keeping the films in the fridge (i.e.
4?C) is the best way.
I am wondering whether the humidity level generally found in a fridge may be
of any concern?
Velvia 100F29 Jun 2004 21:48 GMT2
Does anyone use Velvia 100F with a different ISO setting than the one given
by the producer ? Some people use Sensia 100 with a 125 ISO setting claiming
it is the proper one as the curve shows; similarily some use 125 or even 160
ISO setting for Provia 100 F.
difference, fuji frontier 350 and new 355?28 Jun 2004 23:21 GMT2
Hi.
I am pretty ignorant about photo lab equipment and
what's the difference between Fuji frontier 350 and the new frontier 355?
Film response curves: best choice?27 Jun 2004 06:18 GMT2
When comparing different film IL/density curves, I understood that some
films have a pretty extended density range (i.e. TMax100, HP5 and TriX) than
others (FP4, Delta100). Of course, each film being developed in its ideal
developer (ranging from TMax to Ilford DDX).

Where to get my "special" slide film developed?20 Jun 2004 14:23 GMT9
We just got back from a major trip to several national parks in the
west -  Grand Canyon, Bryce, etc.  I took about 4 rolls of slide film
- mostly Fuji Velvia 100.  A friend of mine who works at a Wal-Mart
photo center says the Fuji developing they use would do just as good a
Cheap lab processing20 Jun 2004 04:00 GMT2
I recently used Clark Color, Snapfish, Mystic (all part of the District
Photo monopoly) for some digi prints. The quality was surprisingly good. I
have to wonder what type of printing they do as examining the prints through
an 8x loupe I can see visible horizontal lines in the ...
blank negative!!20 Jun 2004 03:21 GMT3
I just shot 4 rolls of kodak gold 100 for a friend's wedding.  After
developing at a local lab, the first two rolls turned out, and the
last one also came out well, but the third roll, only the first 4
shots came through.   The rest of the negative was blank.  The edge
Problems  when developing color photographs?17 Jun 2004 02:59 GMT11
I have some aerial photographs of the same areas.
They are shoot within 15 min, the focal length, aperture stop, exposure time
etc. are fixed and therefore the same for all the photos.
The problem is that some of the images are very different in color (some
Cross processing Astia?16 Jun 2004 03:21 GMT3
Any hints? I've got plenty of film coming but I'm like some
starting points? I've seen everything from over expose two stops to under
expose one. Somebody claimed never use fill flash. Some talk about
pull/pushing the processing.
Foma T200 experiences?15 Jun 2004 02:39 GMT1
I would appreciate any comments/experiences on using the FOMA T200 film (I
will be using it in medium format).
Thanks,
Scanning larger format negs to CD-ROM or DVD14 Jun 2004 21:10 GMT19
Our wedding photographer sent us all of our negatives from our wedding and
reception and they are of a larger format, NOT 35mm. In order to preserve
their usefulness I would like to have them scanned and have high res pic
files put on CDs or DVDs. There are several hundred photos, ...
Kodak "Perfect Touch" processing -- VERY poor results!12 Jun 2004 22:22 GMT12
I just had 3 rolls of film shot on 200 ASA Fuji film processed at CVS.
They were shot on a Samsung Evoca 140 Neo, which has a very good
Schneider-Kreuznach Varioplan lens, and generally takes excellent
photos.
Help please.10 Jun 2004 16:06 GMT12
Have any of you heard the Kodak, will be stopping developing, or making film
in a few years?
I hear this 3 times this week.
I was told at a camera store that I would be better of stopping in my
HP 5 + Rodinal  = Grainy prints ?10 Jun 2004 01:26 GMT5
I just developed ( first time in 17 years ) my two HP 5 films in Rodinal 1+
25 @ 68 F for 8 min just like the instruction says and then stopped and
fixed in Kodak chemicals.
The subjects where outdoors , some in the shadow , some indoors daylight but
