4x5 tray developing system28 Apr 2004 15:23 GMT1
A couple years ago I was heavy into 4x5. From commercial and hardware store
parts, I put together a tray-based 4x5 developing system: a 4-up holder for
10x12 trays and a holder for 4 negatives that fit in a Calumet reel-style
washer are the main homemade parts.

Movie film ends in Canada?28 Apr 2004 03:30 GMT6
Does anybody know of a  source for this stuff? I know a couple of
US places carry it but with a shipping rate that makes it a non-starter.
Somebody in Canada must handle this.

Super high resolution prints on transparency in L.A.?26 Apr 2004 21:23 GMT1
I do live in Los Angeles and need to find someone who can produce a high res
print. I have created 'non-traditional' artwork (for some research) in
Illustrator which contains several thousand super fine lines at a thickness
of less than 1/10 of a millimeter. I need to have the file ...
Slides VS B-W26 Apr 2004 15:27 GMT9
I am trying to cut my cost a bit, and see if I might be able to do some
developing here at home.
I have not developed B-W film sense JR, but remember how basically.
I have never developed E-6 before, or even seen it done.
Help25 Apr 2004 19:11 GMT3
Some years ago, there was a place or two that was a large catalog of stuff
in the photography field. I was on one or the mailing list about 12 years
ago, but that's about it.
Can anyone help me out?
Kodak UC100/Reala Comparison20 Apr 2004 06:46 GMT13
Finally had a chance to shoot these side by side, and have posted some
comparisons. Note that this is only a grain and sharpness comparison. I'll
test for saturation, accuracy, etc when a little color returns to my world.

Mystic (new) experiences?16 Apr 2004 18:48 GMT2
Just wondering if anyone has tried Mystic after the ownership change?
I used to like their 5X7 proofing and haven't really found a proper
alternative but haven't yet given the new outfit a try....

Modern slide film speed evaluation methodology14 Apr 2004 21:28 GMT1
I've beeen searching quite a long time for the answer. In ISO/DIS 2240
there's is a color reversal speed defined as square rot between
Dfog+0,2 and tangent to shoulder or 2,0D exposure. Only the 2,0D point
gives right speed for low and high sensitivity slides. Everything is
