experienced help sought for Konica centuria/VX30 Jan 2004 23:26 GMT1
Hi
I've several Konica VX 400 and Centuria 400 that I was evaluating and
when developed I noticed that the negatives are distinctly more orange
than the brown typical of other manufactures.
Fujicolor Super HQ 10030 Jan 2004 19:45 GMT1
Does anyone know what the devil the specifications are for this film?
What does it compare with?  Is it highly saturated or what?  Any idea
about resolution or grain.  The Fuji web site doesn't mention it but
yet it's sold at Walmart, Ritz, etc.  I thought I would give it a try
cheap and good B&W processing?30 Jan 2004 18:01 GMT5
Note that I chose only two of "cheap/fast/good."
I have some B&W film here I'd like to use, perhaps even with a pinhole
camera (check out www.pinhole.cz if you've not been curious about this
before). But I'm currently unemployed and have neither access to a
Ektachrome tungsten QUESTION??27 Jan 2004 16:48 GMT3
i mistakenly shot a roll of Ektachrome(Ektachrome 320T) tungsten  using
natural sunlight.  (i was shooting indoors, but used only the available
sunlight through the windows--  no artificial light).
The subjects have lots of both intense and subtle color.  Will the color
negatives into slides processing27 Jan 2004 16:46 GMT8
I seem to remember that some labs can print negatives and also make a set of
slides from the same negs.
Who is that? What is the quality?
Thank you
Kodachrome 25 question27 Jan 2004 00:29 GMT2
I found an old roll of Kodachrome 25 that I had failed to get
processed. The camera store where I used to take it is now defunct and
I can't seem to find any local place to take it. Where is the best
place to send the film for processing today, assuming there are any?
Outdated dia film25 Jan 2004 23:10 GMT1
I have some Agfachrome 1000 RS films that have a date of 1992. I am used
to shoot old negative film (Optima 125 from 1994 is wonderful when
exposed at 32 ASA), but as I do not want to overexpose a dia film, I am
wondering how I have to set my camera for this film.
Kodak Elite Chrome 100?23 Jan 2004 00:41 GMT8
Does anyone know whether Elite Chrome 100 (EB) is an amateur version of one
of the Kodak pro films such as E100S, or otherwise. If so, which film is it.
Thanks in advance
JJ
Agfa RSX II?19 Jan 2004 05:38 GMT6
Has anyone shot any of this stuff lately? If so, what can you tell me about
grain and sharpness? I'm interested in the ISO 50 stuff, but would like to
hear comments about any speed.
effect of time/temperature on film development?16 Jan 2004 22:54 GMT1
I was wondering (may be beginner's question) how does the time/temperature
couple affect the development of a film. I was looking at Ilford tables
where it seems that one could achieve the "same" (?) development of a film
in a temperature range from 17 to 26C (adjusting the time for ...

know if it's worth seeing ?
Tmax developers15 Jan 2004 18:34 GMT33
What are in your opinion the best developers for Tmax 400
(time+concentration+agitation). I'd like to get a good contrast without
heavy grain.
Thank you pas
Info on labs14 Jan 2004 16:23 GMT4
Tired of labs that print bad  pictures and don't care? Have a gem of a lab
or manager and want to shre this info.
I have done something about it. I have created a place to rant or rave about
this, a place where you can share info about what works and doesn't work in
Re:Why Isn't Anyone Talking14 Jan 2004 00:46 GMT1
To the powers to be on this forum....How do you let trash such as this on
the page, but most of mine never see the light of day.  I reply to photo
questions, but to no avail.
info - Cross Processing13 Jan 2004 14:19 GMT5
I 'd like to know a little more about cross processing for c41 films in E6
chemicals.
Which kind of negative film could be more suitable than another one for this
process?
