Kodak and Fuji...Old Film29 Sep 2003 07:01 GMT4
This is not meant to put down any product, just an observation. Yesterday, I
was helping a friend pack up his apartment, as he's getting ready to move. We
came across 6 rolls of 35mm film, 4 Fuji HQ 200, and 2 Kodak Gold 200 (Gen. 6).
All the films had been sitting in a drawer for ...

I have really only used Kodak films and some Agfa, and I was hoping someone
could point me to a comparison or a review of the Fuji films that are
availible.

IR films: Kodak HE vs. Konica 750?27 Sep 2003 00:13 GMT1
I am interested in shooting infrared film with a 25A or 29 filter.
Can anyone please advise on the relative merits of the above two
films?
Also, how might they respond to a 70 filter?
New user questions about Fuji NPH25 Sep 2003 06:19 GMT3
I decided to try out the new NPH, Ive never really used a professional
film before now but I am somewhat disappointed. To my eye they seemed
really bluish and maybe pinkish, kinda pastely. I took it to Penn
Camera in DC which is kind of a semi-pro shop. I think they use

NYC film lab advice22 Sep 2003 19:57 GMT1
hey everyone,
I was looking for some advice on a few excellent labs to get my 35mm
work printed from in Manhattan or Brooklyn.  1 hour isn't a necessity.
Just wondering if anyone would recommend somewhere in particular.
good wedding photo development in SF or Berkeley Area20 Sep 2003 21:33 GMT3
A friend just shot a few rolls of film for my wedding (3 rolls 200
speed fuji color prints, 1 roll ilford 400 B+W).  They're the only
good shots we have, so I'd like to get them done at a solid place.
Any recommendations?  I work at Market and New Montgomery in SF
any tips on cross processing C41 film in E6?19 Sep 2003 14:44 GMT5
I'm looking for any tips or experiences with C41 film cross processed in E6,
ie so the result is a transparency film. I'm looking for exaggerated colours
(ie highly saturated and possibly contrasty) or any effects or colour shifts
which might be useful. Can you please specify the ...

recieved and email back from Qualex labs, as an answer to my question
as to why Ilford xp2 took 7 days to get back.  This is the answer I
recieved.
Costco 8x12" enlargements?14 Sep 2003 08:55 GMT1
I've had about 10 8x12" enlargements (from 35mm negative)
done over the past 2 weeks.  I'd like to compare notes
with other people who use Costco's *conventional* (not
"1-hour lab") photofinishing for 8x12" enlargements.

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but I have trawled through
past posts...
I've just got some XP2 plus and I want to check that what I believe is
true.
Fuji NPS vs. NPC13 Sep 2003 00:09 GMT3
What are the main differences in characteristics between these two
portrait films (other than contrast)?  Which film is suitable for which
types of scenes?  And why is it that only NPS is available in sheet
form?  Pls advise.
Kodak, High Definition film (400)12 Sep 2003 04:33 GMT1
Does anyone know if this film is availble thru B&H? Ive looked on their web site but couldnt find
it.
