I have the Sony DSC H1 and would like to get a UV filter or some other filter for the sole purpose of being able to walk around with the camera ready to shoot - but keep the lens protected.

I was given an H1 and was missing a lens cap. I ordered it from Sony, along with a thin strap for holding the lens cap. Now....please don't laugh.....it came with no instructions and I can't figure out how one is supposed to use the strap.

I was given this camera by a friend who was ill. It came without any manuals and a few other missing parts. I was able to replace the missing parts. I was able to download a pdf manual from the Sony website.
