How to set FZ30 focus to "infinity"31 Jan 2006 04:23 GMT1
On my old Nikon coolpix 995, there was a setting to automatically set the
camera's focus to infinity, such that the autofocus wouldn't engage when the
shutter release was pressed.  On my new FZ30, I can't find any such setting.
If I go to manual focus and train the field of view ...
Elements 3 RAW converter28 Jan 2006 11:32 GMT1
I have RAW Shooter Essentials which lets me covert the files, but that
is a pain in the a.s. I have tried the plug-ins from the Adobe web
site,is it that I am just not doing it correctly or is the Nikon D70s
not compatible with Photoshop Elements?

FZ30 indoor pics w/o flash24 Jan 2006 16:27 GMT5
Unlike my previous Lumix cameras, I cannot get the FZ30 to take accurate
pics without a flash indoors. If I have the flash on, then the autofocus
works great and I get a perfectly focused picture. If the flash is off, even
though the EVF shows a good focus, most of the time the ...
Manual mode. Panasonic FZ1517 Jan 2006 06:13 GMT5
I wanted to take pics of the moon.
The auto settings didn't seem to work that well, so
decided to try the Manual settings, this was the first
time I have really used this option, very pleased with what

Panasonic Z15 battery.17 Jan 2006 01:51 GMT6
Battery seems to charge up(or shut down) in about 30 minutes, but in
the camera
seems to only last a short while. Two batteries, the original
Panasonic and a Maximall, just wondering if the charger could be
Confusing Reviews14 Jan 2006 00:24 GMT5
After spending a few hours (in a store - side by side) with the
Panasonic FZ5 and the Canon S2 IS, I have observed that the FZ5, while
having not quite as many features, do have more significant features
such as a grid for composition, speed of focus and zoom, and a better
FZ5 and wide-angle converters12 Jan 2006 16:12 GMT2
Anyone using a wide-angle converter for the Panasonic FZ5?
To David J. Taylor:
Why do you use another camera for your wide-angle option instead of using a
converter for the FZ5?

Canon S2 IS apertures and ISO04 Jan 2006 18:09 GMT3
I checked out the specs this morning online and I am somewhat confused about
the listed aperature settings;  maybe someone can clarify for me.
Specs show range of f2.7 (wide) and f3.5 (tele) (if I recall correctly).
Does this indicate a limitation for the lens?  In other words, ...
Settings for FZ2004 Jan 2006 12:13 GMT1
I would like to minimize the processing that the camera does as I always
tweak pictures on the computer before printing.  Currently I have the
resolution at highest, best quality JPG, and noise & sharpening "low".  Any
other recommended settings?
