Highest resolution Viewfinder.31 Jan 2005 12:32 GMT21
I am beginning to be convinced that lcd viewfinders are the trend of
the future even if that sounds like a pompous prognostication since I
don't even own a zlr (g). However, am I correct in thinking that
Minolta currently makes the highest resolution viewfinder? I was
Photoshop CS26 Jan 2005 18:41 GMT10
I'm a computer professional, with some experience of SLR photography.
After many years without a camera, I recently bought a Panasonic FZ3.
I'm very pleased with it. Now I need to learn how to use Photoshop. I've
never touched image-processing software before, and Photoshop is ...
Picasa2 is available20 Jan 2005 21:11 GMT3
In case folks haven't heard, Picasa2 is available for free

cataloguing software which also has basic editing capability
and an easy to use "email picture" function.  Check it out!
All this talk of IS20 Jan 2005 10:40 GMT12

And before people jump on me, I have 2 IS teles for my DSLR rig (and
Third-party converters for Coolpix 8800?09 Jan 2005 08:59 GMT4
Time has come to upgrade my old Nikon Coolpix 995. It isn't so much
the 3 MP as the shutter lag that I'm fed up with. I originally thought
of geting a DSLR, but I have decided that I can wait for a couple of
new models still of those, and by a zlr while I wait.
Best WIDE-ANGLE zlr?08 Jan 2005 14:34 GMT5
I'm trying to figure out what is the best wide-angle Digital ZLR
currently available.  Specifically, I would like to purchase a 6+
Mega-pixel ZLR that can shoot (with a wide-angle adapter) as wide as a
35mm film camera with an 18mm lens.
Buying my first ZLR (entry level)05 Jan 2005 14:52 GMT15
Hi everyone!! Glad to see the group up and running. :)
My first digital camera (a Canon S230 point & shoot) is great, but I'm
ready to buy something with a bigger zoom range than my current 2X,
more user control settings, and a camera that is easier to hold on to.
