Bibble Software11 Aug 2008 10:40 GMT9
I looked at the Bibble web site and it certainly looks attractive,
especially with the Healing and Clone tools.  One of the things I
like about Capture NX is the ability to save the edit parameters
for a photo without saving the edited file.  This is excellent for

But likely not for some time.  It could also allow for far faster
lenses too as curved focal plane is often the price you pay for hyper-
fast lenses (faster than f1).

Canon lenses, universally disliked?10 Aug 2008 22:45 GMT71
This is a post on another group, pretty funny and sad at the same
time.
Hi, This is my very first post here.
I'm using Canon 5D, and am looking for a long telephoto lens.
A simple question...10 Aug 2008 18:01 GMT195
I have been wondering..what was the first digital camera that was considered
to be a true replacement for film?  I mean, I remember some years ago that
there was a lot of talk about this.  That digital would reach the point of
being as good as film.  When did this happen?
dumb question10 Aug 2008 16:27 GMT108
Dumb question;
I've been out of photography for many years so this digital stuff is new to
me so please forgive the dumb question. I'm confused about the maximum image
size one can get out of a camera like the Nikon d700.  What's the largest
Pentax Remote Assistant only sees camera if administrator10 Aug 2008 08:24 GMT2
I recently, finally, got my K20D (it's such a joy to have a working
SLR in my hands again) and just got around to playing with the

I gave Remote Assistant a try but it only seems to recognize the

Some more questions and/or thoughts...09 Aug 2008 10:58 GMT46
Since my first question about film vs. digital, I have begun wondering about

photography I sort of always assumed that most dSLRs had full size sensors.
That is, that they simply were digital versions of ...

about how many exposures it has made in total?

I should always carry my camera08 Aug 2008 01:28 GMT6
I was walking down the tracks today, and about a 1000 feet farther I spotted a
brown shape. Maybe a deer, I thought. As I got closer, I expected him to flee at
any time, but he just stood and stared at me. "I could get a good shot with a
300mm" I thought.
