The old Sony Multiscan G500 21-inch CRT beast gasped it's last breaths tonight with a few flickers, fading to a dim blue image, after months of epileptic degaussing fits. I think it was about 10 years old & served me well.

In the earlier post about image manipulation of raw files by the camera mfgs, I mentioned a softening of detail seen relative to other, earlier models. While this is the case (IMO) with the K20D compared to the K10D, take a look at the high ISO files and the detail retained

At present I use my HP printer to download my photos to the Computer, Store them in Image Expert, and Edit them in either Picassa or Adobe Elements 6 and often then use other software such as Nero to burn the pics to a CD or DVD.
