Compact Flash File (Picture) Recovery06 Apr 2008 19:55 GMT7
My ham-fisted handling of my wife's 4GB Lexar Compact Flash (CF) Card almost
cost her 2000 photos she'd taken. A, "Disk is not Formatted. Do you wish to
format it now?", message greeted us whether the card was being read from a
card reader or from her Nikon D70 connected directly ...
Photographing Clothing06 Apr 2008 19:24 GMT15
I am an ebay seller and I purchased an EOS digital rebel to photograph
clothing. I am having a very difficult time getting the colors accurate. For
example, what are actually a more grey or taupe, appear more of a khaki or
brown. I have fiddled with settings lighting and ...

Sigma - going where Canon doesn't.05 Apr 2008 15:24 GMT9
Space.  There's at least one Sigma lens (a 300-800 "Sigmonster") on the
ISS, used on D2x body.

D300 Raw + Jpeg gives me two jpgs04 Apr 2008 06:56 GMT5
I know I'm missing something in the manual, yes I have rtfm, I selected raw
plus jpeg fine and it wrote two jpegs to the card. Is it because I'm
selecting 14 bit raw? What did I miss in the manual?
Thanks in advance.
Nikon .NEF Files and IPTC03 Apr 2008 21:45 GMT1
Is it possible to store IPTC info with a Nikon D80 .nef file (either
in the file itself or in the .xmp file)?
If so, what software would do this?
Does a good lens help focusing?02 Apr 2008 03:36 GMT10
I have an Olympus E500 which is fairly good,
but I want better focusing - if possible.
Does a more expensive, or prime lens, give a
better sharp focus generally?

How's the Canon ink quality these days?02 Apr 2008 00:11 GMT4
I bought a Canon iP4500 just to print the occasional photo with. I use a
laser printer for printing text etc. so only need the Canon printer
for printing photos with and nothing else. My concern is that the ink
will dry up due to infrequent use and ruin the print heads. I have ...
Processor for photo editting01 Apr 2008 04:18 GMT93
I'm thinking of updating my processor, but I've some doubts. Is a Duo core
really much faster with NX or PS than a 3.0 P4? Or is it just marginal?
I quite often do batch processing in NX and notice the system halting or
even freezing. Specially when using another program ...
